This is the best router I've ever had. It has great range with speed as described.

I was desperate for a router so that I could use my tablet but was worried about being able to afford one. Did some preliminary research online. I decided on Linksys and saw that Best Buy was a retailer. I immediately went to the nearest location and was further educated (and reassured) about my choice. The price was also comfortable and to date my router has performed beyond expectations. Thanks.

I upgraded to this from the E1200 and I couldn’t be happier. It was easy for me to setup and it give me control. I can set schedules using an APP for each device, I can label devices, block access, set device priorities(school computer/iPad over a PS4)and see everything connected to my networks. The APP even works away from home when off of your home network so you can monitor your network on the go. This runs both a 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz network as well as a guest network if need be. With this router I am actually getting the speeds I pay for from my ISP(paying for 300, getting between 295-299) The only negative I had was I hooked up to a straight fiber network and ONE-TIME only had to call Smithville for them to release/renew IP leases to pickup the new router. I had my old E1200 hooked up prior, that caused a slight conflict but easy fix.

This is the router I have been looking for. I have been asking Geek squad for a router that receives more than 10 guest and no one could tell me, but this one does, it receives up to FIFTY guests. The router practically do all the configuration for you. I do not have small children at home so I didn't even bother to check parental controls. I really like this router. It also has outside antennas for better range I supose.

This router is faster and has better range than my previous router. The only drawback has been my phone and tablet sometimes can't connect. My laptop seems to connect great. I am not sure if it's the router or the phone/tablet that is causing the problem.

After doing some online research on the wifi smart routers available on the internet, I decided to buy this one. My requirement was very simple like dual band, wireless AC speed with at least one USB 3 port for network storage and printer. I am using this more than a month and I am very satisfied with this router. The setup was easy without any problem. The speed is good and It can work 2.4 and 5 GH simultaneously, this was an added advantage as I could connect my old android tab only on 2.4 GH. The signal strength is good and I never experienced any issue with signal or speed. I connect my 1TB external HDD to the router and access it all the time on my computer and it performs the same as it is connected to the computer itself. The mobile app to manage the router is like icing on the cake. I got this Router cheaper on Bestbuy and I feel that it best value for money.

My first router was a Linksys. My second was a netgear, which was junky. I went back to Linksys for my third, and I made the right choice. Being able to see who is on your network is very important for me. Guest networking is also important. You can control everything from an iPad app. Setup was a breeze and I didn't have to mess with cables and a laptop. I don't have an ac device yet, but will so I am ready.

Linksys has been up and down through the years for quality and reliability. However, they have done a good job the past several years not only in improving the product, but making it very easy to configure quickly. Consistent, reliable, fast. Very easy to setup.
