Amazing Performance, No Qualms So Far…

I bought this router at the recommendation of a store associate. I was experiencing seriously dreadful WiFi speeds with the router Comcast provided, so I invested in this one. It wasn't too expensive compared to similar routers. Setup was easy, though you had to make an account (email/password signup) which was slightly annoying, but it wasn't difficult so not a real con. I don't know much about the advanced features; all I know is that the WiFi speeds in my two-story apartment are consistent and near the same as ethernet-connected devices. Pros: Awesome signal, relatively simple setup Cons: None really

Bought this router when the old one would no longer connect to anything in my house wirelessly. I have a medium-sized house and was looking for something in the range of $75-$100 that could connect to about 8 things at any given time. This router does the trick! Speedy connection speed, no drops or lost connection spots in the house, and set-up was a breeze. My Vizio TV has a Netflix app built-in, and it occasionally looses the connection, but I don't blame this router. I'm thinking the TV apps or the TV itself are just outdated. Nothing else we are connecting to has had any issues. Very pleased.

I have a 105/10 connection (as advertised) and using the 5GHz band in 802.11n mode, I am able to get 125/20 in speedtests with a few obstructions in between. The USB port is very useful for USB 3 drives since it gives me about 2Gbps throughput there and thats fast for LAN transfers !

I purchased this for my father-in-law. Linksys always has a simple setup process and works right away. The router has good performance when hard wired and close range with the WiFi. Wireless has no loss at all when in the same room as the router, but once you move rooms or upstairs/downstairs there is significant loss. Overall this device has good bang for the buck(about $100 for an AC router is a great deal), but if you have a larger home and need coverage everywhere you will need to spend more money. You absolutely get what you pay for with routers.

We purchased the Linksys AC1200 to replace an existing router. We typically run 6-8 devices. We were pleased to find that the directions were clear and the router was easy to set up. We did not experience any compatibility issues with any of our devices.

We upgraded with this unit from a previous Linksys router that was several years old. I thought we would get much greater connectivity, but though this router is fully functional I can't tell much difference by comparison to the 300 we replaced.

      Hi RobSICT,

Your time for writing a review on this product is valuable to us. We understand that by upgrading the router would mean better performance. The router still depends on the connection it gets from your ISP. If you are subscribed to the same internet speed, the same speed will be provided to the router.

When it comes to the transfer speed, you may adjust the router settings to optimize its performance so you can fully utilize the features. Try adjusting the MTU size of the router. For the wireless range, changing the wireless channel can help you improve it.

Let us know should you need further assistance via email at [email protected] and indicate the link to this post.

This router works great - very easy to set up. I have been using for a few months now and haven't had any problems. I have HughesNet Satellite for my service and it is completely compatible. I had a NetGear router before and it kept going out and I had to keep resetting it.

I wanted to improve the wireless coverage and increase the concurrent connections my cable providers all-in-one modem and access point didn't provide. It only took a few mins to set up and configure. I now have great coverage all over the house. Great product for the money.

This the first router I've ever owned, so I don't have anything to compare it against. I gave it a high rating since it does exactly what I purchased it for which is provide a wifi connection throughout the house. Also, the set up was quite simple which is always a plus.

I had a Belkin router for a few years and it worked well. However, with more devices now in my home it became outdated. This new Linksys has a sleek design and I fully believe having the two antennas makes a big difference in signal strength.

So far so good. It was easy to install. Basically just follow the wizard. I've only had about 3 devices and no glitches. Range work excellent in a 1600 sq ft house. Even in the garage.

Good router that performs as expected. Not sure if it performs much better than my old $99 N-router especially since it is supposed to have extended range. I do get better signal strength but I guess I expected more given the price point.

If you have high speed internet you need this router. Great price and it will allow all the bandwidth from your ISP to flow through super fast. I'm paying for 75Mbps and always pull 85, your results my be different though. Wifi is strong in my single level home as well.

This router was easy to set up out of the box. I really like the fact that I can have a guest log in with a different password than my secure log in. The app for this router is easy to navigate and I can change the guest log in and manage the number of users easily.

Cheapest AC router you can get for the quality. When it comes down to it you want to future proof yourself with the newer wireless technology. Don't go with wireless N. For connecting more devices and more range go with an AC 1900 Nighthawk or an Apple AirPort Extreme!

The Router was easy to set up. It's perfect if you want to use it for personal use and small business (guest) use at the same time. Recently we lost power and when power was restored the router didn't lose any settings. That wasn't the case with our previous router.
