Strong
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were having problems with our old router not putting out a strong enough signal for our devices to stay connected. This Linksys definitely solved that problem! Doesn't reach our bedroom occasionally, but that's a very minor issue.

WiFi router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the WiFi router, although I do wish it was a bit more powerful. It was very easy to set up, and I was able to do it with my smartphone, I didn't even have to turn on my laptop to complete setup, other than to connect to the WiFi.

Wifi router is Great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to work with my model when I had Comcast/Xfinity and it worked great, after I cancel Comcast and I went with AT&T I decided to use it even though AT&T modem has Wi-Fi . It still works great and I didn't have to change any of my device pass word.

Good dual band router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Router works well and is nice to have the dual band capability. The only drawback is for remote access, one can not set up to directly access the router. You must go thru the linksys web service, which I see as a minor limitation.

Just what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Older Cisco N type went bad with house full of people trying to get online. Drove to Best Buy and figured AC was the way to go. Took it home and was up and running in 15 minutes with 8 user logged in!

Great Signal Strength
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router provides great signal strength for not only the entire house, but also my entire lot. Had to make sure to turn off guest access so that my neighbors couldn't piggyback off my service. I'm a corner lot and I can access my Wi-Fi from the street behind me.

Some issues setting up but good signal, range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up on the recommendation of a Best Buy employee. Not what I originally was going to pick up but I couldn't argue with the sale price. It was hard to get it working at the start but once it was properly installed it works fine.

Fair router... for a higher price than it's worth
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this router for a couple of months now. When it works, its a fine router. That said, I'm not pleased with it. Surprisingly, my previous Linksys wireless router (and entry level one from 6+ years ago) offered a better and more consistent connection that this one has done. With my previous router, I was able to connect my Xbox 360 or PS3 wirelessly... the signal was weak, but it at least connected. With this new router, there are many times where neither the Xbox 360 nor the PS3 will connect... and even if they do connect to the wifi, the connection is so limited that I cannot watch Netflix, VUDU, or access Xbox Live. Also, this router has a USB port, which allows you to connect an external Hard Drive. The drive connects, but I cannot access the files on the drive. When I first connected it, it worked fine... for ONE day! And then, the drive loses it's connection. Another problem with this is the build in Media Server TWONKY--it's a total waste! TWONKY comes built in to the router. It is the only Media Server option available to you on this Linksys device. It is a Media Server that only allows a certain amount (a certain GB amount) of files to be viewable. So, you cannot access ALL of your music of videos if they go over the size allotment. TWONKY also allows you ZERO control over which files are shared. My external hard drive contains a backup of files, pictures, videos, music, etc. TWONKY randomly chooses certain folders to share... but not the ones I want (like my music or video folders). It is not something that I can change. Big mistake, Linksys! Maybe I have a lemon device...

Nice product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Speeds are excellent. linksys password was misleading. My cable installer couldn't figure it out. Then I tried it without the spaces around the number and got it. Don't have a lot of devices (4) tied to it, so it's perfect for my needs.

Best Router I've Ever Owned !!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've purchased three of these in the last two years, and lost two of them and a $20.00 cheapy from Walmart in the last 5 weeks due to lightning strikes and power surges . After replacing my surge protectors the last one I bought is carrying the load of two computers, three cell phones, and one TV streaming Roku TV and Netflix. Set Up is easy, and Linksys Customer Service if needed is the best ever !! I strongly recommend this Router !!!

do you really need more than this?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.not the "beefiest" router out there and not what one wants to go with if you're trying to cover more than 3000sq ft. but right now I live in a 1200sq ft apartment and this def gets the job done - and done well. No complaints.

Great router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this router for 4 months now and got no problems at all. It’s signal is strong across the home, including upstairs. Set up was a breeze and it has the best router app I’ve seen - clean and user friendly. What I have found interesting about it is: its guest network appears as open on your devices (as in not secured), however, when you try to connect to it, your browser pops up asking you for the credentials. This got me concerned when I first noticed it, but it’s not a problem. I highly recommend this router.
