I would spend over $100 if I replace this unit. I think I'm pushing the limit on it. I had to get a WiFi extender and that's disappointing. The price was right though.

It was inexpensive and did good for what it was. Speeds were good, but the distance covered was just not enough for my application, I had moved from a MESH to a single router. Would recommend for average single story house, would not recommend for multiple stories and larger homes. Also, had quite a few issues with the Linksys app consistently finding it, it was intermittent at best. I was trying to manage network remote which wasn't great.

Linksys - AC1200 Dual Band WIFI Router

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up in but it is packed with features that a small Enterprise router would have , WIFI is easy to get to , Having a dashboard on the main page that you can customize to show the various router functions and status is a plus. Since there are a lot of dual band routers out there , you will need to use a WIFI app on your cell phone to see the strength and channels of your neighbors so you can pic one away from them. I had a bridged network and the slave router crashed , I used the AC1200 now as the primary and the old primary will be bridged to it.

We told the employee how many devices would be used, but it can't hand 6 devices at once. It works great if 3 or less devices are being used

We suggest that you adjust the router’s wireless channel to avoid possible interference in your network. Use the Wi-Fi analyzer app. It helps you to find a less crowded channel for your wireless router.

I followed the colored handout included with the package and was shocked at how easy it was to register the device nowadays. There are a lot of settings that I don't think I will even use. I like the guest network for wifi. All in all, a good unit.
