I thought the "better" router would have "better" results than my older router that I thought I was having issues with. Stay away!

Improved Signal from old router

We told the employee how many devices would be used, but it can't hand 6 devices at once. It works great if 3 or less devices are being used

We suggest that you adjust the router’s wireless channel to avoid possible interference in your network. Use the Wi-Fi analyzer app. It helps you to find a less crowded channel for your wireless router.

Good router so far, but...

Linksys - AC1200 Dual Band WIFI Router

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up in but it is packed with features that a small Enterprise router would have , WIFI is easy to get to , Having a dashboard on the main page that you can customize to show the various router functions and status is a plus. Since there are a lot of dual band routers out there , you will need to use a WIFI app on your cell phone to see the strength and channels of your neighbors so you can pic one away from them. I had a bridged network and the slave router crashed , I used the AC1200 now as the primary and the old primary will be bridged to it.

I would spend over $100 if I replace this unit. I think I'm pushing the limit on it. I had to get a WiFi extender and that's disappointing. The price was right though.

Switched to Linksys EA6350-4A AC1200+ Dual-Band Smart Router after I bought a new Netgear and was not happy with product or support, and had to return item because it was not working right out of the box. I read reviews and decided that I would try Linksys Dual-Band Smart Router: Instructions were easy to understand, and web site was easy to navigate. Product is working beautifully. No problems with WIFI connect, speeds are good. I don't have to think about having this router because it is doing its job, and not causing any problems.I got what I paid for. How long will it last? Only time will tell. So far I am happy.
