Initially was really good, then the google mdns issue came up, causing wifi drops. With a linksys fw update, and google fixing it on their side, the router is back working great again, Easy to use, great range, and my game connection quality is a little better, and i dont use a killer chipset.

This router is great much better than the asus one I was using before I would recommend to any gamer

I am having the same issue with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi disconnecting every number of hours (ranges from couple hours to most of a day) with the only fix to reboot the router. For the short periods it works, this seems to be a fairly nice router. I previously had a similar issues with my AC9200 modem, but it was not nearly as often.

This router is actually really great. The prioritized feature works well and the admin settings have a really nice UI.

Works great! Excellent WiFi coverage for an apartment with 1,000 other WiFi signals.

Works like a charm and have had barely any issues outside of the usual, associated with wifi. I'm clocking almost 300 mbps with a moderate internet plan from my service provider. Would definitely recommend to all gamers, not just "serious" ones.

This has been the worst router I have ever purchased! Ever since installing this router, my WiFi signal drops constantly. It drops on my phone, laptop, PS4, Hue lights, Nest thermostats....everything. I've check all the settings and everything is set correctly, but it still drops the signal constantly. I can't wait to return this thing to BestBuy for something better!

I bought this router 2 days ago and it has been a nightmare from me and my family. Wifi constantly disconnects and you have to power cycle router to be able to reconnect. It does this every 10-30 minutes. I have a smart home so you can imagine how miserable this has been for me. Never ever buying Linksys product again. I'm going back to Netgear.

Fast and able to handle several systems pulling from it at once. I've got several computers and three Xbox Ones connected to the router and it's able to handle all of them without slowing down the signal.

Excelent router for play online, but I can found the parental control, I need something for monitoring my kids

Very very easy setup, I was worried about the setup being difficult but it turned out to be very easy, took me about 10 minutes to setup and start using, works better than expected

I am overly satisfied with this router. I was replacing a broken router with my GeekSquad product replacement plan and I picked this one just because the price was perfect and it seemed to fit my needs. After replacing my previous router I have a much faster and more stable internet connection for everything. Not even lying, this router downloads and uploads upwards of 3 times faster than my previous one; my previous router wasn't old either. My PS4 went from 5-20 MB/s to 65-80 MB/s and I pay for 75 MB/s download. There is definitely a significant difference. It is also very user friendly with setup and prioritizing devices. Very easy to use!

I bought one of these expecting to see some outstanding performance. I've often sold the WRTs as an employee with confidence in the product. This being my first Linksys (came from an ASUS to Netgear to a Google OnHub), I'm disappointed and would not recommend this product. WiFi will drop randomly on both bands, and you have to reset the router in order to get it functional again. The only time I had stable connectivity within a 24hr period was disabling security, however the very basic UI won't allow you to hide SSID. I swapped the product with another at my store hoping I maybe had a bad unit. Same thing on the exchanged router. I contacted Linksys who said that because this is a new model, I have to wait for someone from their support team to reach out within 2 days for resolution. After scouring the official Linksys forums, there still is no fix for what's now know to be a common problem with this router. If you value your wireless connectivity, steer clear for the time being.

I really wanted to like this router. Pros: Great USB transfer speeds.. upto 80Mbps Cons: consistently drops wifi signal. i would lose wifi on my devices intermittently. i changed channel and even tried disabling radio on another router that i have in the house. even disabled the linksys extender. I also faced another weird issue, not all my devices would not connect with the router on the WPA2 password. I had to reboot the router several times for all devices to connect and then again they lost connection after a while. Another strange issue was that devices would stop talking to the router if Broadcast SSID was disabled which i have never faced with ASUS routers. I usually keep SSID broadcast disabled. i read and people were having similar issues. people even tried updating router firmware and changing to dd-wrt but the issues didnt go away. i would have tried dd-wrt but i would like to stay with stock firmware when i am paying over 200 buks for a router. sad.

I first got the router at the concept that it advertises. I have a medium sized home so wifi strength is important but at the same time when I'm gaming on my computer paired with the "killer" technology that my computer offers I was hoping for even a small difference (was not expecting anything too crazy) which i did receive. The problem i dislike is the networking UI from the website. It's AWFUL. It does not offer Mac Address DMZ, just IP. Another complaint is though the wifi strength gives full bars no matter where I'm at in the house I find it buffer's unnecessarily too long when opening a netflix show. I have 400 Mbps internet so any sort of long buffer that lasts more then 10 seconds is not normal. I have a feeling it's some setting built into the router but even though I have no prioritization set it still happens. Going to return and exchange for another router simply for this.

Currently this Wifi router has an issue with keeping connection to Wifi. Both this router and the WRT3200ACM. Wifi will drop on a consistant basis every few hours at random times. Right now, the router and its sister model are bricks for Wifi use.

Do a web search and you'll see people that purchased this item with the same problem. Wi-fi drops out randomly. The real kicker with this router is that you can't talk to regular Linksys support. It's considered their flagship router, which means a special support team. I was on the phone for over 2 hours trying to get help, and was told their special Tier 2 support would call me back in 8 hours (which would be 4am my time). I asked if they could call back at 8am the following morning (Saturday). They didn't call, so I called back to support. I was told they couldn't help me and I needed to wait for the call. I finally got a call back on Sunday at 6pm. I had already returned the product and got one without the "special support" issues this device comes with. Avoid it unless you enjoy pulling your hair out.

I cant recommend this product enough. Its really fast compared to any net gear router ive owned and I only buy the best. You wont regret.
