      Hi, David,

That's very odd for the router. We recommend that you check your internet source to verify if you can access those websites directly from the modem. We'll have our Second Level Technicians assist you with further isolation and troubleshooting.

    Broken Firmware, No Support

Linksys pushed out broken firmware that is yet to be fixed - this has been going on for 3 months. If it were actually an open WRT router then this would be fine but you cannot flash custom firmware on this. Linksys has locked it down. Otherwise great hardware ruined by horrible software.

    Horrible Wifi drops

I can't say enough how bad this router is in doing the most important thing which is keep my wifi signal up. At first it only dropped on the 2.4 channel and then it started dropping on the 5 g channel. Further research online shows this router has a terrible track record. This is my second bad router from Linksys so I will be returning to my 3 year old Asus for now. This product should be recalled. I should note that some in the forums says the problem does not occur if the security is turned off but really, who does that? I can't stress how disappointed I am because I was really excited to get this router. The one star is for how cool it looks.

    Wifi keeps dropping

I purchased this about a month ago. Everything worked fine until about 2 weeks later. Then the wifi would drop, sometimes just the 5g, sometimes just the 2.4, sometimes both at the same time. About once a day I would have to reboot the router. I found a previous firmware version and installed it, reset the router and now the wifi drops much more frequently. I have now shut it off and am using my old wifi with the intent of returning this unit. I was hoping Linksys would deliver a better firmware version but haven't seen anything yet.

    Stay Away -Known Fault

After about 4 weeks the router began dropping the internet. The signal was strong but no internet when connected. After 2 hours on the phone with Support a hard reboot fixed it...for 24 hours...I kept trying to explain to support that after a few days the problem kept coming back. I had to beg and demand a replacement.. I took hours to convince them to replace the unit....THEN they admitted to me this was a known issue. Even knowing it was an issue they fought me tooth and nail to get a replacement.

Router worked great for two weeks. Than could not stay connected for more than a few hours. Rolled back software. Tried new software. Performed reset and restarted many times. Exchanged twice for new/replacement. Terrible experience.

I really wanted to like this router, but it was horrible! Nothing was working properly and even a 60-MB download took 14 minutes.

Wifi speed is 10 times slower than cable speed. Cable spped is 150Mbps and wifi speed is 15 Mbps. This is unbelievable.
