I will start off by saying, outright, that compared to the Corsair Void and the Razer Kraken, the Artemis is the undisputed best of the three. I will go into this more later. I generally don't buy dedicated headsets; i much prefer the sound quality of high end headphones and generally switch between various headphones for listening to music. Bearing that in mind, I didn't like the clutter of using a clip-on mic ( Zalman ) with my headphones, and game sound and music monitoring are completely different beasts, so I decided to go the route of the single USB cable for convenience's sake. I generally avoid large purchases that I will likely regret, but this is not one of those cases. The G633 ( and by extension the 933) is one of the best headsets you can buy. It looks great, is easy to setup, and sounds fantastic. I would say even objectively, it has the best use of RGB lighting on a headset. Whereas the Void and the Kraken simply illuminate the company logo on a small area, the G633 lights up the logo on the side and a catchy strip on the side which, admittedly, gives it a sort of futuristic, "techy" look. While YOU won't see it very often, it's much nicer than the alternatives. As far as build quality goes, just about every piece is plastic, but everything is thick with a nice weight to it. The memory foam cushions are nice and soft, but take some time to break in ( about a week or so) before they become really comfortable. Oddly enough, one of the minute features I like on this headset is the inclusion of adjustment level markets on the headband so that you can match up the ear cups easily. As far as sound quality goes, I would compare these easily to about any entry level audiophile headphone; somewhere between the Brainwavz HM5 and the Audio-Technica M50X. One of the saving features is the built in equalizer, which you can use to make the sound as flat as bassy as needed. The "flat" setting is a little underwhelming, but the "bass" setting works for just about everything and is pretty much perfect for gaming. While I don't normally use the virtual surround sound, it does seem to work fairly well in most games and offers an acceptable surround sound immersion that you wouldn't normally get from a headset of this price. The mic quality, from what I'm told, is about what you'd expect from a higher end microphone. It seems to be somewhat clearer than the Zalman clip-on mic, but is MUCH MUCH higher quality than the Void ( I'd say the mic quality is the weakest feature of the Void ). There are only two problems I have with this headset and one isn't entirely the fault of the headset itself; rather Logitech and their software. The G633/G933 feature four buttons on the back of the left cup. The lower most is the mic toggle, the other three can be used for additional features or whatever macro you'd like to use them for. Logically, you can use these for the surround sound toggle, equalizer switch, and headphone mute. The problem is, all of the buttons feel very similar, so you have to remember which is what, and the mic is more easily muted by simply raising it back up. The Logitech Gaming software, while once lightweight and response, has become weighed down and laggy. I have a high end computer with an adequately OCed CPU and RAM to spare; but the software really likes to lag and crash unexpectedly. An update or two since I've gotten the headset has mostly fixed the crashes, but has not fixed the access time. Generally not important, but if you need to pull it up on the fly to fix or edit something, hope you don't have a split second emergency in whatever game you're playing.

Hello, if you want an amazing true 7.1 surround sound headset that provides bass and all around everything you could ever ask for. LOOK NO FARTHER! Logitech has actually out done themselves this time around. The looks are actually backed up by quality with these. It has led lighting on the headset with customization for colors. These are extremely light weight. Not a single thing feels cheap. The side panels on the headset are magnetic (so are astro A40 and A50 headsets). You get some amazing software off logitechs website for these that test the surround sound and allows you to change lighting. The mic is a hideaway mic that mutes when you lift it up and it even extends outward about ~2-3 inches. I bought these yesterday (10/8/2016) and I wore them for 4 hours straight out of the box to make sure i wasn't taking them back. I will not be taking them back lol. Best headset I have ever owned 10/10 would buy every time. I'm looking to buy the G933 model now. So, you've gotten this far. Let me convince you a bit as to why this is the headset for you. Do you own an Xbox one/PC/PS4? This works with all three. No adapter required. You have a dedicated switch on the headset for PC/USB and Xbone/PS4/3.5mm. Not sold? I tired my friends Astro A40s. I will pick this headset over that every time. The Artemis Spectrum is a tie in the Comfort area. Sound is relatively the same but new technology gives the logitech the edge. The G633 has better bass response over the A40. Better price for the headset. Personally, better looks as well. Hope this helps you decide. Please don't listen to what any negative BS there are on these. You will not regret your choice here.

Where to start? Pros- -A little lighter then my G35 -A little more comfortable then my G35 - Mic works fine in TS3, CS:GO - multiple connection options Con's- - Software doesn't work like it should ( Check the Logitech forums). - There is some distortion coming from the low end, even at low volume. example Armored Warfare the count down clock tick distorts, CS:GO I also noticed some high and low end distortion. Never had this problem with my G35 headset. - EQ settings in The LGS software does not work. Yes you can adjust the EQ settings, BUT the sound does not change. - These feel really cheep. Every time I put them on I feel like something is going to SNAP Conclusion After reading up on G633, even with the negative reviews on Logitech's forums, I still bought these.....Shame on me. Most of the time I get lucky and its user error. I can safely say its not user error, But Logitech's error. The Logitech forums is bottomless pit of problems relating to the software. The Logitech Gaming Software 8.75.30 has been problematic for G930, G35, G933, G633. Thank GAWD it has not effected my G502 mouse or my Orion spark keyboard. SO, don't walk, RUN way from these until Logitech fixes all the problems that they have with the software. I will be returning these today, Sad cause I really wanted to like these. I am using Windows 7 64. Z97 motherboard with on board sound

get the 2 year replacement plan for $10. It will pay for itself. Ok so these are some of the best I have tried. I have a larger then normal head size. Really, my cap in the Air Force had to be ordered as they did not keep it in stock. Any way these fit fine. Most headsets put more pressure at the top of the ear cup for me. With these I do not feel like I am wearing a vise. I wear these for hours no problem. The sound is great and I find I am actually lowering the volume over other headsets I have owned. The mic is very good. Everyone in chat, be it Team Speak or in game, says I sound clear and crisp. Over all the construction is sold. After 5 months of daily use there are no creaks or pops or other sounds when I put them on. and being on sell for under $100 makes them even more a must buy. So why do I say you will need the replacement plan if they are so good? Its the USB connected cable. While on one hand I understand why. So the head set can be used with a phone easily. I really wish there was a hard wired version of these. I have never unplugged the USB cable from the head set once I plugged it in the first time. However after 5 months of daily use it got to were anytime I turned my head or put any pressure on the cable the USB would disconnect. And at time this would cause the headset to completely shut down. Requiring an unplug at the computer to "reboot" it. I just got my second set today. Nice thing is that one has a 2 year replacement plan starting today. No charge. I hope this set last longer but if not no problem. So yes I do highly recommend these but only with the replacement plan.

    Microphone Issues

This headset has very good sound (audio), but I could not get the microphone to work on my XBOX One. The Mic did work on my PC and my Playstation 4, but the mic is subpar with occasional gittering and glitching. Not good for professional recording (live streaming, machinima, etc.). For this price, I expect a headset with a mic that works. The gitter and glitching of the mic was distracting to my fellow teammates while gaming. ----- I actually purchased two of these headsets (one for myself and the other for a friend to use at our LAN parties), and both headsets were exactly the same, so this is definitely an issue with Logitech... (I tried everything to get these mics to work. I mean everything...) So, I contacted Logitech, and they did not have a solution for me. I contacted Microsoft concerning the non-working mic issue, and they said that not all third party headsets are compatible with the XBOX One even if they say they are compatible right on the box (like this headset does). ----- Also, the audio only supports 7.1 on PC. NOT on the XBOX One and NOT on the PS4. Keep this in mind. ----- Story-in-short, I returned both of these headsets to Best Buy and exchanged them for a couple of Turtle Beach XO Seven Pros which have incredible stereo sound and one of the most professional sounding mics I've ever heard (mic can be compared to a Blue Yeti)! Of course, the XO Seven Pros are wired and are only compatible with the XBOX One, so I'm still forced to use a separate headset for the PS4/PC. Ugh... Hope this review helps.

These actually sound like headphones! They're lacking in the lower mids but you can actually use these to listen to music! It's awesome that headphone companies are paying more attention to audio quality and I love how they are all using the 4-pin 3.5mm cable. These have a very wide soundstage then turn on Dolby Headphones and they shine even more. I think this is the first time I can actually tell the difference between say the left and the left rear surround channels. The mic is where these still need some work. It's a marked improvement from the previous series but they still have a long way to go. It does a much better job at blocking out background noise but it still picks up a lot of what's going on around you. It's too quiet, too compressed, and it doesn't pick up lower frequencies. So no radio announcer voice for you - don't plan on streaming or recording game play with these. They are generally comfortable. The earcups are larger than the previous series so you'll feel more pressure on your jaw. They get warm but not sweaty. Sadly they leak quite a bit of noise so if you're looking for noise isolation these may not be the best for you. The rgb features are cool if you're into that sorta thing. I love the fact that you can use USB cable and / or the 3.5mm cable.

Got these to replace my long, longtime Logitech G35s after the earpads finally gave out after ~10 years of use. My first reaction taking them out of the box was they felt VERY lightweight (and assumed cheaper made) compared to the G35s, however I've been pleasantly surprised by how sturdy they have been. The sound quality is actually much better than the G35s, and as an additional bonus, when waking the computer up from sleep mode, you do not have to reset the 7.1 surround on the headset like I used to with the G35s. The 7.1 surround is great in games, you can actually hear things moving behind you, and on which side to be able to turn and defend yourself. As I first stated, this headset is VERY lightweight, and combined with the generous width of the ear cups are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They also have 5 very easily reachable, programmable buttons, as well as a volume wheel on the back of the left earcup, can set those button to do whatever you desire!. As added eye-candy (using as USB), they also glow, and the colors can be set as a solid color, or set to cycle through the color spectrum as well. Definitely a cool feature. I'm very happy I chose these, and they feel like they should last just as long as my last headset, which was also made by Logitech.

    Fantastic with minor quibbles

I bought this headset to replace my broken base model Razer Krakens. Pro's: The sound and mic are both improvements. The settings in the Logitech software make a huge difference, so make sure you check them out and find the sound you like. Bass is maybe a bit weaker than the Krakens, but overall sound quality is better. Sounds fantastic in Battlefield 1 and when watching movies. The mic is also excellent! Clan mates said "it's great to be able to hear you now". And I don't even have to extend the mic out of it's base! Earcups are pretty comfy, but I have to have them in just the right spot or they put pressure on my ears. Con's: The extension slides where you can adjust the earcups for larger or smaller heads are weak. They slide far too easily and need to be re-adjusted half the time I put them back on. The magnetic covers on the outside of the earcups make the headset feel cheap. There's really no reason to have not made it a solid structure and it always feels like the headset is just loose and not put together well (it is though). Also the buttons on the headset are pretty useless. I have no idea why they are there, but I HAVE used the volume adjuster a few times. Overall just a very good headset for games, movies, and voice comms. Some minor quibbles that are easily overlooked as the things that need to function at a high level (sound and mic) do so very well.

    Not a good product

There are plates on either side of the headset that are held on by magnets, the one on the right side had its magnet fall out due to the glue not being strong at all. My biggest complaint overall though is that the microphones absolutely suck. The dongle sounds like I'm super far away even when it's right near my face and the one on the headset only extends out to my cheek, not getting anywhere near my mouth, and sounds like absolute garbage. If you're trying to find a good headset for gaming, I recommend looking elsewhere for one with a better microphone. The only upsides to this headset is the fact that it is pretty comfy to wear for long durations. Though another downside in the manufacturing, the cushion on the top came out of its holder on the right side, the glue not keeping it stuck, so I had to use super glue to make it go back into place, thankfully that did not impact the comfort too much after the fix. Another huge downside, there is no mic monitoring whatsoever. I feel like i'm yelling half the time i'm trying to game because of this fact. For what I paid, I am highly disappointed in the product. I will be purchasing a new gaming headset come January or February when I have saved up enough money, for now I have no choice but to stick with this cruddy headset.

    Great headset, minor flaw

So I purchased this headset on sale and it was a wonderful price.. Rich sound, lovely surround sound, RGB is nice and smooth, the mice quality is comparable to a stand up microphone, but now you're wondering, "whats the flaw?" Well from the day I purchased this headset ive had one of the worst problems ever with it and its that the USB connection cord always seems to come unplugged no matter how tight you think its plugged in, the slightest swivel of the head and BAM your headset is unplugged and for some games where it doesn't automatically fix it, your stuck without sound till you can close the game and reconnect and when I'm using discord it causes me to disconnect and reconnect a couple times for my mic to continue working and its just a major pain because the cord is very long and not in any snag length at all and Ive even tried different cords to see if the Logitech cord wasnt fully manufactured correctly, but yeah I'm still having this problem... Ive tried contacting Logitech support multiple times and they just tell me its user error and that they cant replace the headset due to the problem which is unrealistic... I really wish there was a way I could downgrade to a different Logitech headset that doesn't have a detachable usb plug ...

Got these for my other half since her previous headset stopped working. Wanted something that would (hopefully) last a bit longer than 3 or so months.Headset is not too heavy, it has RGB lighting (for those that care). Sound produced is good and the microphone seems pretty good too. I've noticed that it blocks most of the noise out and is able to pick up relevant sounds (i.e. me on the other side of the room) even when there is ambient noise (fans etc). One thing that she did mention is that she keeps forgetting to tilt the microphone boom (?) fair enough down to where it is no longer muted. The microphone is muted when you tilt it far upwards from the mouth, the LED in mic changes to red to signify this and to green when it is engaged and ready to be used. Not a design problem though just the user issue as far as I'm concerned. Cable is protected with braided sleeve/sheath so it should be durable. There are 2 types of this headset and they look identical for the most part with an exception that one is wired/wireless and this which is wired only. Knowing my other half I decided that she'd want wired type rather than spending an extra $50+ on the wireless/wired (optional) type that she'd forget to charge and just leave plugged in all the time anyhow. So far so good as expected from Logitech.

First, the good: Great sound and mic quality Comfortable (I wear this headset for hours and it doesn't bother me) Ear cup buttons are a huge step up from inline controls in my opinion They're Logitech. I like Logitech's gaming suite, and their products are of good quality. Now the not so good: Size, these things are large. This isn't a problem if you're just using them at home for gaming sessions, but they certainly would make a fashion statement in public. The price isn't great, but in the end I think it was worth it. The neutral: Corded vs. Wireless, I went with these over the wireless option for two main reasons; price (way cheaper for corded) and batteries. I personally don't mind having a corded headset as I'm sitting right next to my computer, but if you want to be able to move around and have the extra cash, I would spring for the wireless version of these. About the customization: Being able to go into the gaming suite and change around your equalizer settings to get them just right is a cool (but novel) thing. And in the end, the only time you're going to see lights on this set is when you aren't using them. So take those features as you wish. TL;DR Great headset, good sound, good mic, big design. A great pickup for someone who wants good quality but something a little more fancy than a basic headset.

This headset is wonderful for PC use, though it is also marketed towards console use. However, the lapel mic located on the 3.5mm jack is not exactly suitable for communications unless you don’t mind your party hearing every single motion you make or choppy audio. The headset itself is quite comfortable and after tweaking the RGB is awesome to look at. I myself stream on Twitch.tv/IAmTheBigKat so I love letting my audience see my new headset. As well, there is a retractable microphone to use for communication when using the USB plug in as opposed to the 3.5mm. The sound is crisp and bass filled. Being able to do quick EQ swaps with the touch of a button is nice as well. Also having the ability to turn the surround sound on and off with a button is handy. There are also 2 macro buttons located on the headset and a convenient volume knob. The slider on top for PC or 3.5mm use is a good way of swapping the main audio input quickly as well. Overall this is a great headset and worth the cost. I would recommend these to anyone looking to play games that require a lot of listening as well as those who enjoy listening to music or watching movies/videos.

Cons Would receive 5 stars but I do have 6 complaints, 1. all the instructions are pictures 2. Since there are no words I am having to contact logitech support to find the setting that repeats my mic in my own headset 3. Some might consider the rainbow techno equalizer on your head cool, but it feels silly at my age 4. The box does not direct you to the Logitech website to download the software for the product, but it is there, many features 5. The software is actually javas script and pictures as well, so you just click the picture and it brings up those options (no words) 6. The Braided usb connector/cord is actually sold separately on the logitech site and did not come with the headset, braided is reinforced Pros 1. 7.1 surround sound, sounds like a dream, as did the g35 2. Better fit, no need for interchangeable head pads, as it auto fits like a dream and is comfortable 3. The usb cable actually detaches, less chance for cable kinks Once I have time to figure out all the ioptions, by hunting them down, I am certain I would recommend it as it is the upgrade to the now discontinued version of the g35, by any means do not buy the g930 or any other wireless model if you plan on using it for djing, the wireless mechanism makes voice horrible, go wired

Read reviews complaining about microphone issues, but bought today anyway with higher hopes for the experience than I've had Pro: - They look nice cosmetically. - USB connection is snug and secure. - Comfortable fitting. - USB cable is plenty long enough. Nice convenience. - Sound is clear. Cons: - The surround sound quality is very poor, even after adjustments. - They volume doesn't go very high. - Telescopic boom is unnecessary and prone to failure. Poor design choice - Mic drops constantly requiring I unplug the headset and plug it back in. This is incredibly disappointing and an absolute deal breaker. Firmware is up to date for both Logitech Gaming Software and the Headset. After the 4th time applying this 'fix', now mic refuses to work. They are unusable for gaming with this level of reliability. Adjusting volume, changing 3.5/USB switch, unplugging and plugging back in, raising and lowing boom, and toggling mic in software will not fix. In conclusion: The whole experience left me wanting. This is disappointing and unacceptable. I ignored the reviews I read warning about this behavior. I have learned my lesson. They will be returned tomorrow for another brand and I will not purchase another Logitech Headset.

I was very pleased with these headphones. They are fantastic with noise canceling, and the sound is lovely. However, there is a button on the left side that should mute the mic and then unmute it again, except for me it cuts the headphones out completely--mic AND sound--and pressing it again does NOT bring the headphones back online. I have to unplug and replug the headphones to get them to work again. Unfortunately, in some of my programs this means that the program will no longer acknowledge the headphones at all, which means that in my streams I have to shut it down entirely, exit my streaming software, then reset it all up. Unfortunately, this button also happens to sit at the precise angle that if I look to the left there is a 75% chance that the button will be pushed accidentally. The mic can flip down and back up, which I greatly appreciate and the colors are fun and fancy. I would love to be able to recommend these to others and as simple headphones they are generally fantastic. However, if you're a streamer or often in voice chats, this may not be the best choice for oyu.

The headphones are amazing...ish, The sound quality and design of the headphones are outstanding, the microphone sounds a bit basic but still is very useful, it is a very comfortable headphone aswell and has a lot of customization included. The issue with the headphones is its connection port, VERY VERY VERY easy to break, also after using the headphones for about two months the USB port connection is now very unreliable and the headphones keep constantly disconnecting, this has happened before with a different pair of the same headphones so I do believe that it is a hardware issue with the design since the "Wired" is a micro usb port, and its very easy to break if you twist the wrong way or accidentally step on the long cable or something. I probably would not recommend getting these headphones mainly because it seems they have a short life span, but if you dont use it that much they really are amazing sounding headphones

Really nice sound, especially at the 100 dollar price point. The headband is a little tight at first and requires a short break-in period, but is easily comfortable enough for long sessions after this, the cups are larger than most and fully enclose around your ear enhancing the comfort. The surround effects are fairly pronounced, with a vivid soundstage. The bass is surprisingly clear and clean, very little to almost no distortion, which was the biggest shocker on this headset, and the main reason I think it's superior to the astr** , their bass ends up being plenty loud but sounds dirty at lower frequencies, the Logitechs will let you hear tone variance you likely hadn't noticed before in music. For gaming, the surround plus clear sound is great, and the LGSoftware that acts as your equalizer also allows for full customization of the lighting effects and macro assignment for the programmable buttons, or you can sync the color scheme with other products run through the software. I highly recommend this to everyone who asks

I am an avid Logitech product user and have several of their top end gaming equipment (Mouse, Keyboard, Headset) at home and at work. I saw this the latest headset as well as it's wireless sibling and opted for wired as the last headphones I purchased had less than desirable performance. Needless to say these do not work. Logitech is working on several problems including a lack of surround sound, poor mike audio and headsets that provide no audio with the exception of the beeping sound of changing the volume. For headphones going between 150 to 200 dollars one would think that they should work and work well....You can do much better (any working headphones are a marked improvement over what I have currently) and until Logitech ponderously address these issues this expensive ear muffs will have to sit on the side. Check the Logitech Forum to see if they have finally resolved the numerous issues being discussed - consider yourself warned.

The Logitech G633 is extremely useful and adapt as a headset. It's full range of RGB customization makes for an ability to match with any setup you may have, and the range of the headset is top notch. Beyond RGB capabilities, the software for the headset also includes different sound profiles, and a fully customizable equalizer. The headset can be muted both via a button on the left earcup, or by lifting the mic out of the speaking position. It also comes with customizable sidetone monitoring, allowing you to set how much feedback you get from your mic. The noise cancelling feature can be a slight problem if you need to hear people outside of your games, but can easily be remedied through either an adjustment to your sidetone, or by simply keeping one earcup off (which doesn't sacrifice user comfort.)
