Wheel sounds scratchy, not silent at all, however,
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I specifically purchased this mouse because it was advertised as silent, but the wheel is louder than my other two mice that were not advertised as silent. Why advertise as silent if it is not totally silent? I also purchased the Logitech TRIATHLON, which is not a silent mouse, but the wheel is ridiculously silent, fast and smooth. The buttons on the Triathlon are noisy, just to be clear. Logitech clearly has the technology to make a freakishly quiet wheel...why didn't they add that to this mouse?? Overall, I would still recommend the mouse since the right and left buttons are extremely quite.
