ok, so this is a huge bait and switch....I had to drive 50+ miles for a demo and then the product isn't even in store and then on top of it, it says that it will ship by December 30th?! Almost a 1,000 dollars taken and nothing...even better, customer support immediately said they would get a supervisor when I asked them why this was a bait and switch. It's been 40+ minutes and nothing...

The product works well, but does not have enough META apps support yet. The translation is the feature I purchased them for and it works as advertised. They work very well as expensive ear buds. The rest of the functionality is a novelty past the camera and video. Once I unlocked the ability to side load 3rd part applications, the functionality increase greatly. It also added more novelty and games. The battery life running YouTube and or Pluto TV is fairly short. But the recharge is fairly quick. The tech is worth it to me, but the next 2 generations should really bring these to prime time.

First, I love gadgets. And this is not only a gadget but a useful tool and pretty good sunglasses. Having the color display is crazy good. It takes a while to learn to use the arm band but once you do, it’s a great tool. I never realized how awesome it would be having a camera in my glasses. We are on vacation this week with my two granddaughters and it is awesome to take pictures so easily, and immediately send them. Much easier than using my phone. Downsides: battery life, but I’m hopeful for an easily attached battery pack like the C2 for the gen 2’s. A bit bulky but worth it. If the Ray-Ban Meta Optics had a screen, wow!!! Also picture mgmt needs improvements and I wish the lens would get darker in both direct sun and sun through my windshield. And I wish I could connect them to my Bluetooth hearing aids because it is a bit hard to hear the built in speakers. If you are not crazy excited to enjoy this amazing experience, wait for the next display release. Definitely a lot of fun!!! Highly Recommended!!!

These Meta Ray-Ban AI glasses are an impressive combination of style and technology. The in-lens display is bright and useful, the AI features are surprisingly helpful, and the glasses are comfortable enough to wear all day. The sound quality is excellent for music and calls, and the camera captures great photos and videos hands-free. The Sand color with the shiny frame looks modern and stylish, and the battery lasts long enough for everyday use. If you’re looking for smart glasses that don’t look like traditional tech, these are definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

This tech will definitely redine wearable tech we know. The display is clear, the controls are very intuitive, and the capabilities are already awesome, but there is so much more that can be done (which i believe is in the works). The handwriting feature is still unreleased, the apps are pretty limited, and ive encountered some UI hiccups here and there but nothing major.

They are nice glasses. I wish the lens transitioned a little bit darker than what they are snd they are heavy on your nose snd if you wesr too long can give you a headache, but the sound quality is great. When in the phone people can hear you clear and not a lot of noise. The texting features are great haven’t tried the live translations yet.

The Meta AI glasses with a display have potential, and there are things I genuinely like. Unfortunately, the frustrating parts outweigh the benefits. Right now, they feel like an okay camera and headphones with a display that may or may not show me what I’m looking for. What works well The charging case is convenient, the transition lenses are useful, and the microphones work well. It’s typically easier to ask Meta to take a picture than to use the controls. The live captions are also helpful, although I’ve noticed Meta sometimes adds words that weren’t actually said. Translation is less impressive—the delay makes conversations feel awkward rather than natural. YouTube Music will play through the glasses using my phone’s controls, but the integration is limited. I can’t thumbs-up or thumbs-down songs through the glasses. What needs improvement The camera’s 3x zoom is disappointing. Its placement on the left side makes centering shots difficult. I would prefer a centered camera placement, like the Oakley design. The neural band is one of my biggest frustrations. In my experience, it responds correctly about half the time or less. Sometimes it takes several attempts just to clear the display. The home screen adds little value and isn’t where I want to start. The display itself is okay, but it’s limited to the right eye, and navigating it needs to be more intuitive. The AI needs substantial improvement. In my use, it fails to identify what it’s seeing roughly 45% of the time. It also makes things up and sometimes responds as though I said something I never said. These errors happen often enough that I don’t trust its answers. Battery life is another major disappointment. For something intended to be worn throughout the day, it needs to last longer. Potential, but not enough yet There are a few games, but nothing I would play long-term. The recently released developer mode adds features and user-created games, which is encouraging, but I haven’t found anything with lasting appeal yet. Meta Muse looks promising based on my experimentation with it on my phone, but I’m still exploring how it can work alongside the glasses. I’m rating the experience I have today—not what future AI updates might deliver. Overall, the glasses have useful features, but reliability is missing. Better AI, more consistent band controls, faster translation, a more useful home screen, improved camera placement, and longer battery life would make a big difference. As they stand, they earn three stars from me.

Meta AI is great for people where today is their first day on earth. Other display glasses are much more immersive but do not have a battery. As of this review the only app to view video is instagram reels and whatsapp / messages / the camera app. The speakers are probably best of class for glasses and it does have an immersive effect but the quality is still not as good as headphones for some music. The app also runs in the background 24/7 regardless of if you're using the glasses. Still very cool to have a mini map headphone camera combo. Great quality overall and battery life lasts probably 3/4 of a day unless you're on reels all day, the display is definitely bright enough and auto-adjusting and the speakers are fine but not crazy loud. The camera is also surprisingly good quality and have a super wide FOV. It would be great if meta didn't charge you $1000 to tape cameras to your head.

To me, this is one of the biggest steps in technology since the Apple Watch. I’m not going to lie—it’s incredibly interesting what this device is capable of. The biggest value add, in my opinion, is Google Maps and live closed captions. That said, I think this device can be a double-edged sword. It’s very easy to immerse yourself deeply in the screen and lose track of what’s happening around you. Fun fact: you look funny to others when you’re staring at the screen. It almost looks like you’re high—your eyes seem lost, and you’re not really paying attention to the person in front of you.

The glasses are amazing got them 2 months after the demo back in January this year and I'm still loving them the display is awesome with a view finder so you can see what your capturing the glasses are heavy so you may need ear hoops and stick on nose pads to help with the weight

I love my displays. Sure the cost stung. But it's just like a phone and phones cost more. I especially love my text being right there in my view. And the option to write out my response with my fingers right on my leg or table or whatever. I wish I could use Snapchat and my regular apps to video chat. But it's all good. I still love this

I really love the neutral sand color — sleek and comfortable to look at. The build quality overall feels great. I bought these as a gift for my husband, who has limited vision and was hoping the display would help with navigation and daily orientation. Unfortunately, the display only shows on the right lens, and his stronger eye is his left one, so this didn’t work for his needs at all. Also, they’re a bit heavy to wear for extended periods — some kind of added protection against drops would be helpful. One more downside: the translation feature supports many languages, but not Russian, which we needed.

Easy to use, camera function works well. The on screen displace comes very handy. The screen doesn't distract/interfere with the glass (take time to get use to it).

Overall, I liked the hand-gesture controls, but they could be frustrating at times and did not feel practical for everyday use. The vision was somewhat blurry, although it could be adjusted. I think this product still needs significant improvements in design, compatibility, and overall user-friendliness before it is ready for release to the general public.

I recently tried the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses during a demo, and they completely blew me away! The display quality, voice responsiveness, and overall comfort were outstanding. Even in a short test, I could tell how seamless the phone integration and audio clarity were — everything felt fast and natural. The design is sleek, lightweight, and stylish. I can’t wait to get my own pair soon to experience all the features every day

Pretty cool, nose area where the glasses sit on hurts after having them on for a while. A little too bulky. But over all nice camera quality love the Bluetooth. Hopefully next ones are more lightweight. And thinner for people with smaller faces. And also doesn’t have a lot of access to different apps.
