Horrible Design - Returned it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed an installation kit for a '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee and found this at Best Buy as I needed it quickly, not wanting to wait for it to be shipped. I brought it home, and unlike every other mounting kit I have ever used, it does NOT have breakaway tabs to make it usable in the vehicles it says it fits in. If the unneeded tabs were able to break away, this kit would have fit as they intended. I'm not sure what Metra expects, but the plastic is so thick that it would be impossible to do so without destroying the kit. The tabs that did not belong to my vehicle made the kit unable to mount in the radio bay. I definitely would not recommend this product.

If the plate fits?

Not that there's anything wrong with a tape deck.....well no, nothing is good about a car still having a tape deck. It was time to upgrade it and the team helped.

I told him I was on a fixed income with not a lot of money to spend. He showed me a number and after listening to me, he lead me to the equipment that I wanted. The price was right.

Just make sure that you put it in the right way. If it’s upside down it won’t fit… obviously. It wasn’t a hard thing to do to be able to put in an aftermarket radio.
