    Display Adapter Version 2.0

I had the first version of this and it was good, but felt that it could be improved upon. First of all, the signal with the new version is much better and never drops compared to the old one, which would randomly drop even with the source within a few feet of the adapter. Second, the motion on the mirrored or extended screen is faster than the previous version. This adapter is used weekly to also show movies and the latency is hardly noticeable.

    Great Solution for Wireless Presentations

I purchased this adapter to sync my new Windows 10 laptop with a TV or projector, mostly for PowerPoint presentations. I initially tried a spare Google Chrome Cast I had on hand, and it worked most of the time, but there were frequent connection issues. Any time there was an internet or network hiccup, I lost the display and had to reconnect. After researching other options, I decided to give this Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter a try, and so far it has worked flawlessly. Connection is quick and easy. It does not rely on my internet connection, so there have been no unexpected hiccups. There is virtually no delay. I love being able to have my laptop on the podium with me, giving me the option of making notes on screen during the presentation. I can even put the computer in tablet mode and walk around the room. I haven't really put the adapter to the test by displaying video. I did try to cast an HD Youtube clip once and it wasn't as smooth as I would have liked, but that may have been an issue with internet signal. For my purposes, this is a great and relatively inexpensive solution. I'm thinking about buying another.

A Great Way to Mirror Your Phone/Windows PC

The Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter is a great way to connect your android phone, Windows 8 or Windows 10 (compatible with Mirracast/WIDI) computer or other device that supports these standards to an HDMI capable monitor. The mirroring is fast and stable and the device doesn't get hot like some. Do note if your device supports the right standards - and on some devices turning mirroring on can drain the battery quickly, so be near a plug.

This device is much like a chrome cast but it lets you cast your computer screen. From my experience there is a little lag on videos which is noticeable when someone is speaking. We use it for presentations so that isn’t an issue and it works great. I would recommend it for presentations and for portability.

Good video streaming, easy to use with Windows 10. Seems to disconnect a lot, I've figured out that when I move my surface pro 4, it will often disconnect. I have to keep the device perfectly still, and then it works fine. Hoping for an update that fixes this, but no luck yet

Took it to church to do a powerpoint, connected it to the TV monitor and it operated without a hitch. I have currently used it approx. 4 times and so far it is doing exactly what I bought it for. This is probably one of the better things that I have bought that so far has operated exactly as I desired it to. If you are teaching a class and want to do powerpoints or project material so all of your class can see, this I highly recommend.

I purchased this for my classroom so I can use my laptop without an HDMI cord. It works great! So many other teachers saw what I was using and also went to purchase one. It's great. I haven't used it at home, but I understand works great for that too! Great product, must have for teachers.

Needed something portable for my weekly business presentations. Purchased a Google Chromecast but fell short compared to this. The only issue I’ve had is switching between different power point shows and having to close the previous one. There might be a fix but I haven’t cared to research it. Audio sound is equally great streaming from my windows laptop.

I love this adapter, it loses connection once and a while during use but it's really easy to set back up, only reason I have it 4 stars. But I bought google chrome only to find it doesn't work well with my tablet and so I was very pleased to buy this one and you can connect both parts into one band and carry it around easy.

This wireless adapter works great. I use it so that I can watch TV shows from network websites and it is easy to connect and I haven't had any issues with playback. I also like the ability to change between different display modes for how to use the TV (extend monitor, mirror my tablet, second screen, or just use the TV).

Easy and Quick way to throw your screen to your TV

Setup was very easy - plugged it in to my TV (Visio) and Windows 10 found it and connected without any issues. Only warning would be that this device needs power through the USB -- if your TV doesn't supply enough power than you may have to extend and plug the USB side into any standard phone-type charger. My Visio 70" worked fine, but I did have to use the short USB extension (included with the adapter).
