Its great to use and easy so you can watch movies on tv from your phone. Just that you need wifi and the wireless mirror image display app and thats it.

I bounce around offices and using this to project my screen has been great for presentations or just viewing a larger screen than on my surface.

Bought to replace the earlier version of Microsoft Display Adapter. This one appears to run cooler and works with SmartView from my Samsung phone just fine. Using this instead of a Roku when camping to cast my phone screen. To screencast to the Roku had to be on the same network which is difficult when the phone is also the hotspot. This configuration allows me to cast from my phone and use my unlimited data instead of hot spot data.

I love that I can use my surface on my TV. This product is easy to use. I be recommend this to my friends.

This little connector is great. It's so easy for me to now connect my Microsoft Surface Pro to our television for viewing anything.

May take a few attempts to communicate with your device. Over rated price.

I got this to be able to display 3D X-rays from 3D software to a tv. It was very easy to set up and works as well as if I was using an HDMI cable.

Very easy to use. If it was friendlier with apps like Netflix, I'll consider giving it 4 stars. For some reason, when using the duplicate screen option, the screen on the TV is smaller than the TV's actual screen size. Not sure why Netflix is not working for me but that is very frustrating. I use this with my Surface Pro 4 128 GB, 4 RAM, i5 processor.

This is needed to project whatever you're doing on the Surface onto your smart TV. It works great for presentations.

I have the first and second versions... There's not much of a difference. Both work wonderfully... this device is a must have to project any device.

Works as advertised, windows discovered it immediately & works well. (Remember this is a miracast device & is not a google cast device- they are different technologies.) Only problem is the hdmi plug is a little large, especially when combined with a chromecast, you'll have to rearrange plugs or buy a short cable with a smaller, normal size plug in order for everything to fit in the TV. That's the only reason 4 stars instead of 5.

Wireless adapter works great with the TV. If you want to stream video, you will need to be close to the TV.

Had to buy this to get a Samsun S6 (or S7?) to talk to a portable projector. Did the job just fine, but it was a bit expensive at around $50 :(

Works well with my classroom projector. I was able to screen my laptop/tablet onto the projector with this adapter!

I like this item so far. I have completed several power point presentations without any issues.

It works ok but I wish it was a more direct linkup between my computer and the presentation screen.
