I bought this for my uncle so he could stream videos from his Microsoft Surface to his tv and it works wonders. There is a small delay in video from the tv to laptop but it's not noticeable if you don't look at the laptop and the audio works great!

Would not recommend this product. Do not have any other similar wireless products to compare to, but substantial lag and quality loss in wireless transmission of display.

We needed to cast to our tv from the computer This adapter work most of the time. Sometimes it disconnect from the labtop.

This was very easy to set up and worked great out of the box. It was nearly close to plug and play. I would highly recommend this for a wireless solution to projecting from a windows 10 laptop (surface book) to a TV.

Stayed with a Microsoft branded device, have had issues with non Microsoft branded adapters on surfaces they appear to be picky but very good range and solid connection with both my surface and my Windows Phone (yes I'm the person that has one).

Works well for presentation purposes, however uses the wifi from your computer so you need a hard line fi you plan on doing anythign online in your presentation.

Just look up this product in YouTube. You will see all the good reviews on it. Trust me. It really works! its not good for REAL SPLIT SCREEN obviously because the wireless tech is not there yet, but for casual use, its perfect. Not high FPS.

For Windows 10 and 3 year old or newer computers. Other configurations could be an exercise in frustration and inability to use this product.

I watch movies from my galaxy smartphones from this and in general I do like it. But I can see that it seams to reduce the refresh rate as motion is a bit jerky. The biggest problem though is how hard it was to get it to actually update. It randomly got so much lag that I couldn't watch movies at all so I went to update the device with my computer. I tried for days but it kept failing. It finally worked right before I was about to give up on it. I'm hoping something better comes out but for now this works.

Not bad, as long as you have a good connection 4g, only problem is it will overheat and lock up, leave movie paused disconnect wait a few seconds and start again

Doesn’t hold a solid connection as good as just wired HDMI. But let’s you cast for a good amount of time

A great adapter to use for streaming movies from any app from cellphone, tablet or laptop. My tv is an older model that doesn't have wifi or things like ROKU so this works great.

Went with the name brand dongle vs an off brand one. Very satisfied with this purchase, does as expected. Also works well with android phones for projection.

Functionality is great. Compatibility is limited. Only works on certain laptops and mobile devices. Desktops will not work.

My wife got this I didn't even know they made something like it but it's one of the Best Buy's I think she's ever gotten I didn't know you could wirelessly transmit to your TV

I like to have this handy so I can connect my surface pro 4 to any tv I need to. Its great for watching movies, streaming content, or doing presentations. The newest TVs have bluetooth connectivity but otherwise you will need this.

It has been super helpful to use my surface pro whilst teaching my classes, allows for even easier mobility than before, always great connection! Glad I bought it!

It just might be my TV but you have to be right in front of it to work. It's nice to have the ability to have a bigger screen.

Needed to connect my work computer to my tv but it didn’t work. Can’t even connect phone.

Works for what it is designed for. I could have used my computer by itself with the smart tv if I had researched it before. But, does exactly what it its designed for.
