Its maybe 10 feet away from the TV. At 1080P and Stereo audio, the video will break up, and the audio will have little bits blank audio. At 720P it's a little better. I attached it to my monitor, it's about 3 feet away from the laptop, it works fine with minimal delay.

Read blogs, and even called Microsoft direct. Most reviews say this product is a dud. When it works, it works great, when it doesn't work, it gets you frustrated to get it to work. No other brands were offered at best buy.
