I purchased this on a trip when I realized I left my normal one at home. It was on sale and seemed the best value. It's a decent bluetooth with advanced features over the older regime (i.e., my fav is still H710) - but not necessarily in comfort area. It has good call clarity/volume (those are improved over the 710). My biggest complaint is that I rarely get the battery life the 'greeting message' suggests each time I turn the unit on - and definitely not as good as the 710. Seems that's counter intuitive for a new model, but maybe the newer features are draining the battery in a new way.

Great item! Works really well, charge lasts all day, sound is clear on both ends. I do wish it was a little smaller.

Easy to set up very comfortable and it has a pretty good battery life

The Boom has clear sound for me and for listeners. It makes me a safer driver as it is so easy to use in the car. But I wear it most of the day so that everything I do is hands-free with regard to the phone. Great piece of equipment!

I read good and bad reviews about this. So far the only issue I have is sometimes the earpiece microphone will not allow me to be heard. Other than that, I have not received any complaints about how I sound.

I previously owned and older, similar version of this headset, the HX550. I love the convenience of the flip-open on/off switch. Great call quality, and good volume for listening to music or movies on the go.

This is a very good device I like the way it fits my ear.

I primarily chose this because I've had good luck with motorola headsets. I needed a headset with a mechanical on off switch and this boom mic flipping turns it on so it's nice and easy to know that it's on or off. It takes a couple of seconds to turn on and sync with the phone. Call quality is good and good enough. Charging and life of headset is good. I have not timed it as it has not gone flat on me. I charge my devices regularly. I recommend this.

I had a Jabra brand Bluetooth that I lost, and I didn't feel like spending the $80 on it again. I love Motorola products so I tried the boom. Love it! The clarity is fantastic and I can really walk away from my device very far!

I have tried many Bluetooth headsets and this is the best for comfort, call volume, clarity, and battery life. The issue is the folding mic piece. They just fall apart with normal use rendering the headset useless. I have recommended this headset to others and they have had the same experience. I tried quite a few other headsets and keep coming back to this one. On the last one I purchased a warranty and now when it breaks I just go exchange it.
