I have owned Motorola phones previously, and my husband has a 2022 motorola that we love. When my pixel started green screening, I knew I needed a new phone and found this one, did order pick up and got it next day. I had confirmed all the specifications listed on the website and thought it would be perfect. Little did I know that I was getting a phone that would lag, randomly close apps, and have issues connecting to the internet. The camera quality is awful (grainy in all lighting, and I need to take images of work related stuff to show my boss), and the speaker phone is less than ideal. I understand that speaker phone can be finnicky, but I would have hoped that I could set the phone down to use the speaker phone. I have to hold it near or close to my mouth for people to hear me, and even then I still cut out. I guess I should have known that there would be issues when I was transferring my phone data from my pixel to this motorola. Gaming apps were struggling, and other applications (grocery and email) were slower than the pixel. Then I randomly had no internet. That was concerning since I am on an unlimited data plan. Resetting the phone reconnected the internet, but it has been several months of these problems daily. My husband and I went back to look at the specs, including the alleged 24 GB RAM listed on the Best Buy Website, and then looked at the specifications listed on the phone in settings. I am not sure where 24 GB came from, because the RAM is 8GB plus 4GB(boost). This is the same as my pixel from 2023 and runs worse overall. If it had run the same, that would not have been an issue given the price. However, knowing the actual specification of the device prior to purchase is important, especially if you have to use the device for work. Images are attached, and I took the screenshot from the BB website on 10.28.2025. Unfortunately, by the time we realized the mistake we made purchasing this phone, the return window had already closed (both my husband and I work OT, so checking everything had gone on the backburner). The return window was 3 weeks, for reference (purchased Sept 8th, return window closed Sept. 23rd). At this point, I'm hoping a factory reset fixes all of this. The only benefit of this phone so far has been the battery life.

Also mini audio jack slot is good move - overall very good phone - pictures quality not as good as S series Samsung or IPhone but still good enough. Highly recommended phone - great job motorola

The performance is good, and it can run multiple apps no problem. The battery life is great, and I rarely find myself using more than about 40% a day, so it could realistically last a couple of days. My only real issue is how much the camera bulge sticks out and keeps the phone from sitting screen-up very well, which can be solved with the right case, but adds some thickness to the phone.

It is a bit slower than I had hoped considering the 8gb ram. It's a great basic $300 phone that does what you need with it. It might be worth looking into the $400+ range though. Also my mother got the 2024 edition on sale for less than $150. Oddly it seems to work just as well. The main reason I went with this one was the claimed water resistance and ram. Consider the 2024 model, as it's battery life seems to be better as well. Also the 2025 moto g stylus may be worth the extra price.
