Great phone, took a little getting used to after having a Samsung phone, but worth it. Camera is fantastic! Great storage. Finding cute cases was a little challenge, but still worth the money.

The phone performs well and the 5.5 inch screen is wonderful. Although the battery indicates that the bluetooth usage is the main drain on the battery, it does not appear that the battery is draining fast. I can still get several hours of screen time on the phone per charge and I can easily go a couple of days with moderate use before I need to charge the phone. Perhaps it is an issue with the software in that the battery usage is not accurately showing what is really draining the battery. Hopefully, the Oreo update will resolve the issue. This is my first MOTO phone and I am enjoying using it.

It is a little big, I just had to get used to it, but it has a great camera, display is clear, and everything runs faster than my tablet, I am more prone to use my moto instead of my tablet.

Very impressed with performance, the screen resolution is a little dim for my taste, but it does the job, fast, battery life is adequate

Decided to get the G5S after comparing to the Asus Zenfone 4 Max. First impressions were good: feels solid with metal casing, decently sized screen, and a decent camera. It fits my needs: sending messages, checking FB, checking email, Google things. I don't even play games on phones now. Battery life so far seems to be great. If you want a basic phone to do the basic things, this phone will suit you just fine. Knocking 1 star off because, well, I have only had this phone for less than a week. Not sure how it's going to fare after a year.

The Good: The phone is an excellent performer and I'd give a higher rating except for one major problem: The bad: As with my old Moto Pure phone and my Lenovo Yoga tablet, the power port on the Moto G5s requires a plug that is slightly different than other androids. What's more, it isn't easy to connect the plug into the port. The plug has to be positioned just right and kind of shoved in. What's annoying is that I asked the Best Buy salesman if the plug for the new Moto had been changed. He answered in the affirmative. Although I think the phone is great, I am afraid the problem with the plug and port will only grow worse.

I had broken my iphone 6 and needed a new phone. This phone has a better antenna and an octa-core processor. With 3gb's of ram it is very fast. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it has been flawless. The screen quality is amazing and the camera takes beautiful pictures. I have not found any cons for this phone which is surprising as every other phone i owned always had some problem or another. For all the hype over the new samsung and iphones, i would definitely choose this one for one third the price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone

Good entry-level phone, this phone has a lot to offer it’s got a nice big screen pretty nice processor and you can split the screen to multitask the cameras not great but it does the job and screen is very vibrant for the price it’s a great buy

Great phone for the price have been looking at an locked phones and this one fit the bill had some problems at first with trying to figure out how to get music from computer to phone but got that all worked out and I am happy with my pick . The only down side is the app I use for my blood meter will not work with this phone that is my fault . Other then that works great.

My husband likes the features and ease of use. Reluctantly got a smartphone but really likes this one. Reasonably priced for the features.

Really appreciated that this phone was a basic Android unit with no bloatware. The phone has elements unavailable on more expensive phones, like downward scrolling and intuitive programming that make it a pleasure to own.
