Great so far, great for programming keyence software

What a mistake I made. This laptop gets so hot even with a cooling pad that it burns my fingers. I have also had problems with none of my games running smoothly. Minecraft or Stardew won't even work and lag badly. For some weird reason, the screen randomly goes black constantly and I've tried to look up every problem possible and I can't fix it. One crucial part is my W key is also messed up sometimes it works and other times it won't work for hours. Resetting the laptop doesn't fix it. I also can't game and have one internet tab open without it struggling. The only good part is how it looks and the RGB lights. There isn't even a place to check the fans in the laptop or the CPU!! I've only had this for a couple of weeks and will already be returning. I bought an Acer Predator after this and it's amazing, Way better, and cheaper! I would never recommend this MSI to anyone.

Bought this laptop as I am travelling and needed something that I can use to still game and do photoshop/editing. Did a lot of research and decided on the MSI Crosshair, which best buy had on sale compared to newegg and others. Been using it for a few weeks now and I am impressed it it, insanely powerful, handles everything I throw at it. Came with Windows OS and no excess bloat so that was appreciated, had to uninstall the MSI program that came with it as it was bugging out. Upgraded the RAM to 64gb DDR5 as 16GB just isnt enough. No real cons, just know that the laptop runs hot depending on the game youre playing and seeing how compact the laptop is the heat travels to the keyboard, etc. I would recommend pairing this with a cooling stand, keyboard/mouse (or controller) if youre gaming for more than an hour or two. Burnt in hundreds of hours of DBD, Fortnite, BDO, etc already and its still running strong.

From gaming graphics to watching movies, the experience was top-notch. The audio quality was equally impressive, with built-in speakers that managed to produce surprisingly rich sound. I'd recommend plugging in some good headphones or external speakers for the ultimate gaming atmosphere. (also to drown out the fan noise not really, hahaha) Sleek design and rugged build the MSI Crosshair 16 is a modern design, with a hint of stealthiness, just screamed "gamer" to me. The laptop's build feels solid and durable, which gave me confidence that it could withstand the rigors of my gaming marathons. The keys had a satisfying click, making every keystroke feel rewarding. Plus, the per-key RGB lighting allowed me to customize the aesthetics. The touchpad was responsive and worked well when I needed it, but hey, let's be real – I'd recommend a gaming mouse for the ultimate precision. I must admit that the battery life was not the laptop's strongest feature. I got around 2-3 hours, which was understandable given the powerhouse components. But for regular tasks like browsing or watching videos, it lasted up to 5 to 6 hours, which is decent for a gaming laptop. All in all, my experience with the MSI Crosshair 16 144Hz Gaming Laptop has been phenomenal. From its raw gaming performance to the striking visuals and sleek design, it ticks all the boxes for a gaming rig that'll elevate your gaming adventures to the next level. Sure, the battery life could be better, but when you're immersed in thrilling gameplay, it's a small trade-off.

It has good performance, feels sturdy in the hands. It does get warm if you are playing a heavy graphics game, but that is to be expected for a gaming computer. Plug in the Laptop when playing those heavy graphics games since other wise it will use another GPU that is built in. It is not the best gaming laptop in the world, but I does well for what I want it to do (Minecraft with Shaders, Gmod, etc). For those who are new to the Gaming Laptops, be patient when first boosting up your laptop. It need time to update all of the new patches for windows as well as the apps that come with it. Very good Laptop, would recommend.

Fast and amazing screen display! I am not a gamer but rather I needed the high performance graphic card , storage, processor, etc for photography and photo editing. This will be a very helpful device to have when traveling and editing workflow on the way. One negative at this point is that it is heavier than what I am used to carrying. But it is worth it for the price point. Second, FYI it gets hot and I will be looking for a chill pad or fan device to address this issue. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. Recently bought this laptop so I can game with my GF while out of state working. I am very happy with its performance, but it does have some negatives. The battery performance, even while using the iGPU and ultra battery saver settings, is not good. The fans are very loud when gaming, especially when using ultra performance settings, but I game with a headset on, so not a huge deal. Temps are fine. Display lacks standout color. Gets great FPS at ultra settings, even while using Ray Tracing. Build quality seems really nice. Has everything I wanted in a laptop for a great price. Has an empty M.2 slot, though to use it you will have to get in touch with MSI customer service and they will send you the needed bracket for no charge. Looked at laptops that cost $800 more, they would do nothing for me that this wouldn't do. Laptop gaming performance can be had here for a budget price, would def recommend.

So far, so good. I'm not an expert on computer specifications by any means, but I wanted a laptop that could play any current game on high settings. This laptop does that. There's almost no bloatware. Overall I'm very happy. I have 2 issues that may or may not be normal dealing with the power pack. Using Helldiver's 2 as my example I get about 90-115 fps on ultra settings while plugged in to the power pack. When unplugged, fully charged, and all battery saving options disabled it drops to 10-15fps even running on low settings. My Internet download speed is about 450mbps. So to play any game I have to be tethered to the wall. While plugged in and running games the power pack gets incredibly hot, hot enough I'm concerned about causing damage after playing for an hour. So I feel the need to take breaks and let it cool off every so often when I'm playing. I use the laptop primarily at home, so the tethering isn't a huge concern for me, but the temperature of the charging cord is. That's why I give it 4/5 stars.

I've had computers before but this is my first foray into gaming computers. I did weeks of research and finally landed on the Crosshair. I'm happy with it mostly, but it's very loud on max settings. It stays super cool, even without the cooling pad I bought for it. The power pack is scorching during any gameplay. I upgraded to 64gb DDR5 ram and put an extra 4TB SSD in, and it handles everything smoothly so far. I can have Discord and Chrome open while gaming and I haven't experienced stuttering or input lag at all. I will definitely go full PC next time, but the Crosshair does what I need it to.

Very nice laptop. I was looking for something more powerful than MacBook Air. I did pick this one because it has model of Nvidia GeForce 4070 and great processor which is more than enough for smooth gaming and high performance, rendering, programming etc. the screen is also has 120hz. Personally for me I picked this laptop because I do a lot of rendering and programming which is a really hard sometimes for any computer. Plus I also played a few fresh video games: hog warts and Alan wake 2, this laptop support high settings for both games. I would also suggest to purchase cooling pad because as every laptop get hot. I would definitely recommend it

I would say it’s a great price for the machine but be prepare to invest a little more in either ram or storage at your own pace though. I’ve been looking around everywhere for how high the frequency of the ddr5 ram can go to but to no luck haven’t found anything anywhere with specific #’s. I’ve noticed that it runs pretty hot under mid to heavy loads. But that could be different person to person. Overall I got a decent deal for it when it was on sale at 1.2k so even without the sale it’s a neat machine probably still a good investment. I would say I got what I wanted for a mobile device to game on the go.

Great laptop for the price. It has amazing build quality and everything runs smoothly. The battery life isnt great, and you have to have it plugged in when gaming for full power but those are standard for gaming laptops. The keyboard is lovely to type and game on and the screen has great quality. This is the first proper gaming laptop ive owned, and i have to say im impressed. I havent had any complaints yet!
