Man, I love this laptop. It's been great for gaming and has the power to keep up with all the games I have played thus far. Plenty of storage as well. Love the light up keyboard. Great computer.

This is a very nice gaming laptop with a few issues. Definitely upgrade the Ram to 32GB as soon as you can. Huge performance boost after that. Also upgrade the ssd but call MSI to get a kit for free. Speakers are okay, not the best and not the worst. Now my biggest issue has been battery. It definitely drains decently fast, and even drains faster than usual with it powered off. Overall all though, no regrets buying this laptop.

it was the most sleekest design hefty build the aesthetics are amazing performance beyond like any other laptop I had it's a bummer that I couldn't keep it but will be definitely looking into it

Did a ton of research before making the decision to buy this MSI laptop. So far performance is stellar as far as response, and what it's loaded with. Only disappointment is that these laptops, all, do not come with output for new headsets, but instead use the older HDMI output. That said, the overall feel is one of a fairly good laptop. similar to the more expensive units. Packed with enough to handle almost any game or applications. Not comparing side by side isn't the best type of review, but rather just as important since anything one would be disatisfied with what would surface I'm sure. This unit is a true gameing laptop loaded with the RTX 4070, it has all that is needed to satisfy almost every need that a laptop has to offer. What to consider is what you get for your money. Compared to the rest, this unit wins hands down when it comes to more bang for the buck. Only experts in the field would be able to ascertain the true difference's between MSI and other brands, while those of us rely on info obtained via any searches relative to what is to be purchased. Buying on sale, and with all that's packed into this machine, I'd say it's a winner whereas one cannot go wrong for what it has and it's price.

So far very nice. Boot time excellent. The 16gb ddr5 is ok, but upgraded to 64gb anyway. Plays AAA games very well. Battery power is not great for high performance gaming, but that is expected at this price point.

This is just what I need to do schoolwork and game in between. I rather of gotten a PC build but this was perfect. It's the best gaming laptop Best Buy has to offer on a slight budget. That is why I got it. Super fast, and plays any current games. The only thing I wish is of course more ram but all in all I am so proud of this purchase.

Have been using for a little over a week. Overall build quality feels fantastic, keyboard and shell feel sturdy. Display does have minor backlight bleeding on pure black screens. Which can be expected with this type of display. Heat seems well managed when playing games. Has ran everything i've threw at it on ultra.

This laptop is perfect for the modern gamer who doesn't want to, or can't, commit to a full desktop setup. The screen is nicely sized and looks great, performance is solidly High/Ultra on most current games, and the extra aesthetic options are a really nice touch. It does get loud when it's working hard, but that's laptop gaming for you. Highly recommended.

Very solid laptop for the price. Only major flaws with it are battery life, weight and size. It's pretty hefty, as is the charger, so if you're going to be carrying it around, be mindful of its weight. You also definitely need the charger as the battery life isn't great to be honest, but other then that it is fantastic computer.

As a professional content creator , my laptop is the life blood of my career. Whether rendering animations in blender or working with 6k video footage - the MSI Crosshair keeps a quiet and cool workspace for me to accomplish the ever growing demanding details of modern content creation- with a decent punch for gaming in the off time Battery life leaves a little to be desired , but the overall build quality and user experience is otherwise remarkable

I had quite a few issues when I first got the computer but I’m really enjoying it now! I’d primarily attribute that to my lack of experience with PCs. The biggest issue I have is the battery life. I think I can get max 2 hours of use before it dies. After I got everything updated and figured out I can tun some pretty demanding games and programs with ease!

The process for purchase was a good experience from the store itself. It was a great value by specifications, but let me use it a few more months before commenting on dependability. It does get a bit warm and the battery life is below average. I use a cold wood table to help with the heat issue and keep it plugged in while hitting performance tasks.

This is a great product for the price. The only minor complaint I have is that it does get hot as many laptops tend to buy with a laptop cooling pads it stays around 50c consistently in gaming mode and running games at higher settings.

Overall a good laptop top for the price, you do give up a higher cpu for the 4070. But if u need a cpu they do have a model of same type but it’s a better cpu and u get a 4060. Only complaint is the cooling is a little sub par and can get loud but only at high or ultra graphics. But if u play odder games or lower quality it’s pretty quiet. Would recommend overall especially if you can get on sell .

The laptop arrived dead and needed to be charged to start up. I should have realized that it might be an issue because new products should have some charge when unboxed. The battery also discharges when completely shutdown (S5) and nothing plugged in via USB. I noticed that the battery was discharging at over 1 percent per minute while using an external display (720p), and all I was doing was watching a video on Udemy while using Microsoft Word. The customer service rep that I spoke with at MSI was apathetic and disrespectful. He claimed that this was somehow normal. I tried to explain that the thermodynamics of a 90 watt hour battery discharging at this rate didn’t make sense unless I was doing something that was GPU intensive. His response made it clear that he wasn’t even listening. At some point I will replace the battery out of pocket- I just hope there isn’t a short that is causing issues. Luckily, I mainly plan to use this laptop when plugged in and have an M2 MacBook Air for my portable laptop. The performance of the laptop is overall good and may even outperform the current-gen gaming consoles in graphics. I’ve really wanted an MSI gaming laptop for a very long time and only had heard good things about the brand. After my experience, I would recommend going with one of the larger manufacturers who honor their warranties. Don’t make the same mistake I did. An issue with one specific laptop shouldn’t deter anyone, but poor customer service seals the deal on this being the first and last MSI product I purchase. Buyer beware.. you’ve been warned.

Excellent laptop for the price, plays all the games i could need it too with top graphics selected. No issues what so ever!

I got this laptop for the house I’m a big gamer and my wife do a lot of work on the go so far so good and I play call of duty got a extra 2 tb and more ram no problem at all my only issue is battery life about 2hr and display could be better

Ive been wanting a gaming laptop for a long time. Very satisfied with this one. Plays all games we have and runs CAD and CAM software no problem. Im going to upgrade the ram a little for fusion but not really necessary.
