    Great Smart Home Bulbs

Overall, these are great smart lights when integrated with Apple Homekit. Like all smart home devices, you may run into some issues with set up if your WiFi or devices aren’t set up properly, but with Matter support, these are about as simple as it can get. They’re nice and bright and dim nicely. The shape is a little strange, but you don’t really see that when you’re using them. Brightness is good. Colors are good. Been using for a couple years now and haven’t had any burn out on me.

If your trying to build a smart home do your research on the connectivity. In order to add a 20$ lightbulb to my apple home you need an 100-300$ accessory from apple to use a feature that used to be built into the iphones. They Changed it via software update and now you need an apple tv, or there smart speakers. Which in a day where all tvs are smart and everyone has soundbars that have assistants built into them its just a cash grab from apple.

I bought the one pack to see how the bulb works and after using it for a year I decided to get the three pack, if I had 50 places to put these I would buy 50. These are the best light bulbs on the market you can be as lazy as you want when u have them theres no more gettint up because you forgot to turn off the light. Once you get the bulbs you can turn it off from ur iphone or use voice. I would 1000% recommend these bulbs to everyone!

Should’ve saved the box and returned. The bulbs are consistently “not responding”. Tried every trick to make them work, however they are still terrible. What makes matters worse is I bought 2 packs of these bulbs.

Hey, we are sorry you are having a negative experience. We're always working to improve everything from the technical and the user experience perspective, even with the newly released Matter-enabled Bulbs, so those things are only going to get better over time. However, we will welcome every feedback we receive and will try and make sure we help you get this resolved, no worries. As Matter and Thread continue to grow through that experience too is going to get better and better. Being early adopters to new technology is always tricky at first, but the only way to go is up and we're going up along with it. Have tried you to reset your Bulbs?

Lights are good, Configuration can be a nightmare

Brightness is good. Color accuracy is ok. Pairing and connecting was not good. Two lights did not want to connect to the matter network (which in my case is Homekit). One light did not maintain its power-loss state after being switched off and on even though I specified it to. Firmware updates were not taking, even after saying they were completed; the version would keep showing the prior version after closing and opening the app. But now they all work fine based on things I learned, after a rough few hours and a weekend of testing. CRITICAL NOTES FOR CONFIGURATION: Even after you have successfully completed pairing, setting up and connecting the bulb to the matter network, and the app tells you it’s “ready”, YOU MUST KEEP POWER GOING TO THE BULB FOR MANY HOURS TO LET IT FULLY CONFIGURE. You can still turn it “off” with the app, but do not turn off the power switch going to it. If you somehow mess up the configuration or connection to the matter network, you have to factory reset the bulb; no getting around it. (Factory resetting is done by turning the light on for one second and off for 3 seconds, 5 times. It should blink red when done successfully). I left the light switches on for a full weekend just to completely make sure. Now they all work great, firmware is all current, and all are connected. They maintain their power loss state, connect to matter, all fine. DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO UPDATE FIRMWARE UNTIL YOU HAVE LEFT BULBS CONNECTED AND POWERED FOR A FEW HOURS. Again, there is background configuration that needs to be completed after connecting before doing anything with these bulbs after initially connecting, even though to app will let you.

Sorry for this trouble😓 We will make sure we help you with this! The New Matter-enabled lights work over Thread, So they require a Matter-compatible smart home hub and a Thread border router. There were also firmware updates recently that should help with making sure they work better. iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS 16.5 were also released to production. We appreciate your patience with us on this and all the tips and procedures that worked for you here.

I have a few of these lights throught my house and moms. Outside 6 (3 are the non matter) which all work with Apple HomeKit seamlessly, i will admit getting them past the first update was a pain in the butt. It took a while of sitting by the light. I recommend placing in a lamp you can hover around get updated, keep living life. Move it too its home, once updated the lughtd just work in Homekit and for the most part Google home (havent used much. There are three if these lights in a light post outside and asecond one with two about 100ft away and then one more on a light fixure on the house about 50 feet from the two. All of them work in a mesh format to talk to my hubs (Apple tv/Google Hub) with little issues. (Power outlets with gfi and water exposure risk triping on these lights)

I recently purchased the Nanoleaf Colored Lightbulb Pack of 3 and I'm thoroughly impressed. These bulbs have transformed the ambiance of my home with their vibrant and adjustable colors. Installation was a breeze, and I had them synced with my smart home system in no time. The Nanoleaf app is user-friendly, allowing me to easily adjust brightness, color, and even set schedules. The range of colors is astonishing, and each hue is rich and consistent, providing the perfect mood for any occasion. In terms of energy efficiency, these LED bulbs are top-notch. Despite their bright output, they consume minimal power, which is a relief for my electricity bill. The build quality is also commendable, giving me confidence in their longevity. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. The Nanoleaf Colored Lightbulb Pack has not only enhanced the aesthetic of my home but also added a fun and interactive element to everyday lighting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their home lighting game!

I love the bulb. Works as it should and is super easy ro set up. Only complaint is that sometimes the bulb will randomly turn off or on and for a minute or two siri will say that the light is unresponsive and you can’t turn it on or off. Maybe a bug that will be fixed in an update.

This is a very well-designed smart light. The setup and connecting process was smooth with no issues. Both the app and the connect with home kit worked well. For some reason, when I grouped them in the HomeKit app one of the lights was not responding properly but when I ungrouped them and regrouped them everything worked fine.

The best color lights for its price category. Really nice colors and brightness, but the only thing I don’t like is there app. Clunky and messy. I do love how the lightbulbs work with the thread/matter technology.

On paper, these smart bulbs are great. They are HomeKit compatible and have infinite color and customization options. However, in actual use, they seem to fail at all of these things. The colors you set will automatically reset to default out of nowhere. The routines you set up will just decide to not work or randomly change color for no apparent reason. Finally and most incredibly, a majority of the time they won’t even work at all. I don’t know if it’s a flaw with this specific product or something with Apple’s software but these truly do not work well at all. Splurge for a different brand. You won’t regret it.

Bulbs are okay. Firmware updates are a bit tedious when doing large number of bulbs. Connectivity is great when it’s working but when you run into issues it’s a bit horrendous to fix. Most issues stem from bulbs in lamps or after power loss. Also the bulbs don’t sync with other products by the same company so that is a major letdown. All the other companies have this feature and it’s highly requested on forums so buyer beware. Other than that these are very bright and overall work well and have okay color accuracy minus purples. All the Nanoleaf products actually really struggle with purples for some reason. If you’re looking for a reliable bulb with some basic features it’s worth checking these out for the price point.

If you know what a Tread/Matter color-changing light bulb is and you have a matter controller and thread border router(s) then these work really well. If you don't know what all of this means and are not wanting to learn then these are not for you. The color saturation and brightness are very good, as good as Philips Hue but at 1/3rd the price, and of course, they use the new home automation standards.

I bought these after reading all the terrible reviews about their connectivity because lets face it: i like new technology and I wanted to see how these matter over thread lights work compared to my wifi based GE Cync lights. Note: I've only had these for a couple hours now and i plan on updating this review if things change. IMPRESSIONS: They look okay i suppose, not a fan of the anglular bulb aesthetic, wouldn't use these without a lampshade thats for sure. SETUP: They setup was super simple, i screwed them in and by the time i opened my phone (or even the google home app) a message prompted me that it found a new light to setup. The whole process for three bulbs took about 7 minutes. PERFORMANCE: Their color is decent, brightness is on par with the Cync bulbs, and they are usually faster but never slower to receive commands. Also the cync bulbs would sometimes fail to switch colors but these have gotten every command without a misstep. FINAL THOUGHTS: For the price i cant complain so far, however I have not used the nano leaf app, only the Google home app to set these up. I have read that trying to update them with the nano leaf app before waiting a few hours for them to fully configure with the power left on will result in needing to reset them. I would recommend these for anyone looking for a reliability upgrade over wifi based bulbs IF you are using google (and have a nest hub/nest hub max) as your home controller.
