I needed a new router bc my old Netgear N600 was not reaching the to all parts of our house without an extender. This was a major upgrade. No more extenders and speed is great.

Got this to provide wifi in my nephews older home. Does a great job of covering all 1600 sqft of the brick home. It also has 1Gb connection to the cox router so get full speed.

Im really glad I've invested in this super fast router. It made my wifi connection much more faster, it reached every single corner of my house and it looks very modern....

Keep in mind, this review is coming from someone who is not the "techiest" person around but does OK with figuring this out. The set was decently easy but not very easy; needed to download the app to mange the router itself. The speed test within the app in inaccurate as far as the upload test is concerned (reads 0 which Net Gear says is an IT issue they're supposedly working on) but the download seems good. The 5G signal is much weaker than the 2.5G but when on 5G I was getting 130Mbps (with 200Mbps service) on my iPhone although the WIFI connection would frequently need to reconnect; as I write this, the 5G speed tested at 85 down/10 up through 1 floor.

This router was on sale, easy to set up and is super fast. Getting great speeds on both floors of my house with no extenders. I just hope it lasts longer than my last one.

Very user friendly, but may not have been the best option for my application. Signal strength is great, but my configuration may be less than desirable for optimal performance

Setup via iPhone was easy even for a relative novice like myself. The units supports multiple streaming devices at once and handled the Thanksgiving crowd with ease

This was a long over due upgrade, easy set up and has been in use for over a month and I have not had to restart it once. Range is great and was a great price

Extremely easy to set up. Solid signal beyond expectations. Getting full download/upload speed across a 3300sqf home. No need for mesh system with this router.

I got this to replace a router that was buffering a lot. This router works great and I really like the app that goes with it and all the control it gives me.

I purchased this to replace an 6 year old router and the difference in performance is almost beyond belief definitely worth the price even without a sale

This router is very good in the fact that it gives the user tons of options in regards to security, setup, as well as being VPN friendly. I did initially, on the day I bought it, have a drop of my complete network, but I think that had more to do with my ISP than anything on the router itself. I just had to do a power cycle starting with the modem first, waiting for all activity lights to come on (about 3 minutes), and then turn on the router. It was just a minor inconvenience, but that is the same with any other router on the market. It does look really futuristic like it's made by aliens though.

Purchased the Nighthawk AC2400 as a replacement for an older Netgear R6250 to improve coverage and speed. Performing as advertised and am very pleased.

I’ve upgraded from a T-Mobile Cell Spot (Asus TM-AC1900) router to this and so far I’m very impressed. I am using this with the Netgear CM1000 modem for Cox Gigablast and so far it works great. It increased my wireless speed by 50-100 mbps compared to my previous router. I like the fact it has MU-MIMO tech (you need to activate it advanced settings), it works great with my iPhone XS Max. I love the mobile app, makes things very convenient. You can tweak the modem even further if you access it through its IP address, lots of options!! Lots!! So far I’m very happy. I didn’t get the pre-black Friday price, I paid the full $189. Best Buy customer service informed me that this exact model will be on sale for $89 on Black Friday and as long as I go there on that day and show them my receipt they will reimburse me the $100! Can’t beat that deal! Great customer service!

Super fast and easy to use. Has an app you can download and can lock devices from using WiFi at home if you have kids! My family loves it

as always the delivery was quick, Installation was easy. The increased speed is great, download speed is 3-5 times faster. I am glad I made the purchase.

Highly recommend this router, especially for older homes with lath and plaster walls. Great range! Super easy to set-up.
