    improves joy-con mouse-mode 100%

I bought this to play Metroid Prime 4, since using the bare joycon caused my hand to cramp after 15 minutes. I played for a while using this "mouse" adapter (the red/right-hand only, didn't test South Paw, but the left one is just a mirror image of the right). It was a definite improvement vs bare, though aiming still feels a bit sluggish compared to a traditional FPS on a PC (with keyboard+mouse). Certainly got rid of the hand-cramps. I guess my only complaint about this plastic joycon holder is that it doesn't click in securely like the other joycon accessories. It also doesn't have enough gap to press the "eject" button, so you just kinda have to pull it out. (I suspect it will wear out over time). I really wish Nintendo would just add USB mouse support to Switch 2, but in the meantime, this is a low-cost improvement. You could probably 3D-print something similar, but it's cheap enough to just buy it.

mouse mode always felt a little off using simply the joycon 2 safety strap, since the controller is too thin to naturally feel like a computer mouse, so i was seeking an accessory like this for some time to make mouse mode more appealing after picking this up i can highly recommend them, they are just thick enough to feel like an actual computer mouse and the plastic is of a good enough quality for long play sessions only complaint i had is that the strap that's attached to it got in the way of just picking it up and playing naturally, and after removing it manually it immediately felt much better if you want an accessory to make mouse mode more appealing to do on a whim, this is perfect for that

There is no locking mechanism, so the joycons are prone to falling out sometimes, but it doesn’t usually come into play if using them as intended.

Got these on sale as a low-risk way to try a Switch 2 mouse grip. Turns out, there's a lot more to mouse ergonomics than I thought. Because the outer edges of this grip are vertical, it is VERY difficult to lift the mouse off the desk and re-center. That's kind of important, and makes it REALLY hard to use comfortably. Also, the top of the Joy-Con sticks above the shell, meaning there is no flat surface for resting your palm. They have a very stable base, glide well, and hold the Joy-Con securely. And the price is more than fair. But it's not doing it for me.

These make using the mouse feature on the switch two more comfortable. I am happy I purchased them and recommend them.

Honestly, you're better off holding the Joycon without a mouse grip compared to using this. It's just uncomfortable. Although, I'm looking for something that's perfect, so this didn't meet that but maybe it's okay for others.
