I've owned them for roughly two years and they've went through hail storms and even heavy winds from near touch down tornados... Great Quality for the price! Only had a issue once, that was resolved with a simple restart or unplugging of a cord and plugging it back in! It auto deletes the oldest footage, you can upgrade hard drives if you want to as well!

The older metal small bullet cams where great. You where able to put them anywhere at any angle with the capability of adjusting it. But these have to be on a flat 90• angle. Most houses have the angle shape roof, and by using these your cameras will be sideways. Cheap plastic mount. There are no conversion kits for these cams to get the better mounts. Screws that it comes with tend to easily strip with installation. Better buying better screws from a hardware store.
I am liking this a lot but needs improvements.
The app is easy to use compared to other cheap brands out there.

I purchased and installed this system 5 months ago to replace a Qsee system that wore out. Installation was easy, as I just put the new csmeras where the old ones used to be. Image quality is fine, both day and night, except that during transition from day to night the cameras show a lot of interference and get very “streaky.” The spotlights on the cameras are a joke. They do almost nothing to improve the camera viewing range. I suppose if some nefarious character is suddenly illuminated, it may scare them off, but the lights are essentially useless in aiding the cameras. The IR capability is more than sufficient for viewing. After five months, suddenly, the app stopped working. It won’t function at all in live view, so I can’t use remote monitoring. At all. Then, suddenly, at least two cameras stopped working, even on my monitor. Two of the cameras simply display a “No signal” message on the monitor. Once in a while, they’ll connect, so I know the cameras are ok - it’s the DVR that is malfunctioning. Customer service is a bit of a joke, as they are clearly not based in the US, and everything they suggested, I had already done, with no success. They did finally agree that my DVR likely has a problem, but rather than send me a new unit, I had to send the unit to them, after providing a copy of the receipt, and a picture of the device label, and getting it “approved”. I sent it today, and they say they’ll either repair or replace. Not what I wanted. Knowing (having proved) that it was legitimately purchased, and was in warranty, they should have just sent me an exchange unit, and showed me to send back the old unit after receiving the new one. But they have me over a barrel. So now, I effectively have no system, and I have no idea how long before they send it back. Finally, even on the least sensitive settings, this thing records events when nothing is happening. I have one camera pointed at my driveway - a slab of cement, but that camera is almost continuously recording a “face,” or “person” moving on the driveway. There’s never anything there. This happens on all the cameras. It filled the 1TB hard drive in less than 5 months. It does reformat, but it’s annoying that the system records phantom events. I’ve blocked out areas where plants, trees, etc., move in the wind, so my conclusion is that the system is way too sensitive. The app for remote viewing is junk. It may or may not connect, and has a LOT of time lag. Having had time to use it, I’m not at all impressed, or happy with this system. It’s too late to get my money back, but as soon as I can, I will replace this system. That’s how much I dislike it. I would not recommend. These are better cameras than on my old system, but I’d take the old system back in a heartbeat.

Had the system DVR-BTD8-8-4P0E-2-VT3. With 6's camera model CM-DP8LSA-B. After updating to firmware DVR-BTD8-8-4POE. I lost footage for legal proceedings, and usage of microphones on all cameras. Have multiple people to verify usage of microphones before update. Technical service hase no idea other then readying a script spoke to both level one and two of there support team.
