A must-have appliance for your kitchen
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have never owned a Ninja Foodi, you are in for a treat! I have owned a Ninja Foodi TenderCrisp 6.5-Quart Pressure Cooker for three years and it is my favorite kitchen appliance and the one I use the most. The reason why is because it’s so versatile and can be used for just about every recipe you make. I love that it cooks food more efficiently and requires less attention. You can do everything in the same pan and it easily switches over from one cooking method to another. From someone who is always working two jobs and is a food snob who only wants to eat homemade food, this makes all my dreams come true. This multiple-functions item is such a money saver because it replaces the need to buy single-function appliances. And how great is it to have more room on my kitchen counter! Besides pressure cooking and air frying, you can steam & crisp or bake, broil, bake/roast, sear/sauté, steam, slow cook. The 14-in-1 upgrade from my original Foodi adds the functions that proof dough, dehydrate, sous vide food, and make yogurt, but it is still 1460 watts. Other models have 1760 watts). The Foodi TenderCrisp 6.5-Quart pressure cooker comes with a cooking pot, reversible rack, cook and crisp plate. Some units come with the multipurpose pan, but mine did not. I had bought it previously as a separate accessory as I wanted it for specific recipes. My other unit came with a Cook & Crisp basket which made it easy to get food in and out of the cooking pot with its handle and sides. I am not a fan of the crisp plate with no sides as the foods spills out when you remove it from the cooking pot. There will probably be a sling you can purchase separately. On the topic of accessories, the best accessory purchase I made was Foodi silicone mitts. The SmartLid marks the convenience of a single lid for cooking and storage. It is so much nicer not having to switch lids and reset the cooking function. As a result, I find it easier to set the function on the control panel. I learned that you can open the top for the SteamCrisp and Air/fry/stovetop. This unit has a handle in the front to raise the lid unlike my other model, which was the side handle. That will take some time for me to re-program my brain. One thing I love about all the Ninja products is the great support materials you get in the box. The 45+ recipe cookbook contains valuable tips, charts and easy-to-follow recipes. I chose five recipes in the Foodie recipe book that I wanted to make immediately and all were crowd pleasers. The Getting to Know Your Foodi Resource offers step-by-step directions on using the Foodi and an overview of the functions with hints and tips. If you are contemplating which of the Ninja Foodi cookers to purchase, each offers you something different depending on how many people you are cooking for and what items you want to be included in your box. Here is a quick at-a-glance look at the different models and what they offer. The 7-in-1 Compact Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer has 7 functions, a 5 qt capacity, 2 cooking lids, 1460 watts, the cook & crisp basket. The 11-in-1 6.5-qt Pro Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer has 11 functions, a 6.5 qt capacity, 2 cooking lids, 1460 watts, and the crisp plate. The 12-in-1 8-qt. Deluxe XL Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer has 12 functions, an 8 qt capacity, 2 cooking lids, 1760 watts, the cook & crisp basket. The 14-in-1 XL Pressure Cooker Steam Fryer has 14 functions, an 8 qt capacity, SmartLid, 1760 watts, cook & crisp basket. (also comes with the deluxe reversible rack) The 14-in-1 8-qt. SMART XL Pressure Cooker Steam Fryer has 14 functions, an 8 qt capacity, SmartLid, cook & crisp basket. (also comes with built-In thermometer, hands-free steam release, deluxe reversible rack) The Foodie has opened a new door to a world of easy, healthful cooking for busy people. If you are on Facebook, you can join any number of private groups on Facebook that focus on cooking with the Ninja Foodi, such as the Official Ninja Foodi Family™ Community. Members post questions and solutions, but best of all RECIPES with photos! Whether you decide to purchase the Foodi 14-in-1, 6.5-QT Pressure Cooker Steam Fryer with SmartLid or one of the four other models, I predict many years of wonderful meals in your future. This continues to be my go-to gift for bridal showers and weddings.

The Perfect Sous Chef
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was first introduced to the Ninja Foodi 3 years ago and I use it at least once a day. It held up flawlessly after many cooked meals. Now I’m hoping this new Ninja Foodi will be better and last just as long. So the Ninja Foodi 2021 has a more modernized look and I must say it looks good on my kitchen counter. For the original Ninja Foodi 2018 owners the number one thing that stands out is that the 2021 version only have one lid. That make things much easier and convenient because I don’t have to worry about getting the pressure lid anymore. The smart lid is a game changer. 3 slide options and it intelligently adjust the smart lid to activate the correct lid function. I can do just about anything with my Ninja Foodi and I’m not exaggerating. Eliminating clutter from kitchen counters should be easier if the Ninja Foodi is present. It pressure cook, slow cook, bake, air fry, steam, sauté and more. Since the Ninja community is now 3 years old a bunch of recipes are online to help with deliciousness. To start off a QR code is placed on the Ninja Foodi so a quick scan with a smartphone will get you started. Cooking time is also quicker using the Ninja Foodi. I really like the dial selector because it pinpoint my cooking time and temperature for better cooking. This is something that everyone should own in a kitchen.

Rip Off
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m bummed I bought this thinking it had delayed and automatic pressure release, but nope. That feature is ONLY on 8 quart OL701. It is not better than previous version except has 1 lid, easy slide to lock that’s it. You can steam with previous version then air crisp. Also bummed BB has 15 day return policy. It’s crazy to pay $199 to be able to return items 60 days after purchase. 30 days is standard. Won’t fool me again

Everyone NEEDS this! Even if you have one!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Initiate Time Warp] I can’t explain how much we loved our original Ninja Air Fryer. It did great work! Between it and our Instant Pot, we could do most cooking with ease. Then entered our first Foodi and WOW! We were able to save counter space by having a device that could do everything those two devices could do and more. It was used nearly every day by our family. I was hesitant to get another Foodi, considering we just got the other one so recently. I am glad we upgraded!!! The single lid for pressure cooking and other cooking was worth it alone! But the ability to purchase other accessories to do even more types of cooking made it a no brainer. Ninja stepped up again by creating a simple sliding lever for the lid, depending on what you’re using it for. The upgraded display is great too, making it even simpler to use. I write all of this, but my title was enough. If you don’t own a Foodi, you need one! If you do own a Foodi, you need THIS one!! I would without a doubt, 100% recommend this to anyone that asked! And maybe some that didn’t ask :-)

Bulky and heavy, but really versatile
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A pressure cooker. A slow cooker. A steamer. An air fryer. You could have all of these on your counter, or you could have the Ninja Foodi. The remarkable thing is, it not only does all of these functions, it does all of them extremely well. Controls are quite intuitive and easy to use, a relief on an appliance that does so many different things. It does have a few downsides. Because it's a mult-function cooker,, there are effectively two lids, and when in pressure cooking mode, the air fry lid just sort of hangs there. It is bulky, making it hard to store. But, it doesn't take up any more room than that bread maker you last used in 1998. If you want a device that will allow you to pressure cook and finish off by crisping your dish, the Foodi's definitely the only game in town. Overall, an excellent addition to a busy kitchen.

Impressive Steamer and Air Fryer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only tried it about 4 times before being asked to hurry up the do the review (I received one to try in exchange for a review). One time we made Rice and it came out far superior to when it was cooked in a standard rice cooker, the flavor and aroma were superb. Then we air fried three separate types of french fries, and every time very crispy and full of flavor, when compared to cooking them in the oven where often they are kinda mushy and bland. We'll be using it for more than this, i'm certain. If I had one complaint, it is the mass (or weight if you prefer) of this device is a bit heavy and carrying it to and from our storage location is a bit like lifting a heavier weight at the gym. But given what it does, I understand why.

Level Up Your Cooking
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love cooking. It’s something that I am always trying to ‘level up’ my skills. Whenever there’s an opportunity to make the cooking process easier and better, I am more than willing to accept it. And that’s what the Ninja Foodi 14 in 1 Cooker does. It streamlines your cooking experience. Setup: There’s nothing complex when it comes to setting up the Ninja Foodi. Take it out of the package, remove the plastic, etc. and you’re almost ready to go. You must read the instructions. Become familiar with your Foodi and what it can do, what you need to do for proper upkeep so that it can have a happy life with you. I will say that you should designate some proper counter space for the Foodi because it has a spatial presence. Let’s Make Some Food: After reading the instructions thoroughly, I decided it was time to make some salmon filets that I had in the freezer. I love salmon and I am particular about the way it’s cooked because that affects the taste. I put the water at the bottom of the cooking pot and set the Foodi on Steam Crisp, and I placed the four fillets on the reversible rack. What came out in fast time were some of the tastiest salmon that rivals my grilled salmon! A day later, I decided to make a whole chicken in Pressure-Cooking mode. I followed the simple instructions, painted the chicken with my spices and butter, and 50 minutes later, I had the most TENDER and JUICIEST chicken. In the past, I would pick up a rotisserie chicken (pick a store) because it was quick. I always dreaded the ‘soggy’ underside of those chickens. But the chicken that I cooked in the Ninja Foodi was perfectly cooked all the way around. No meat went to waste. I honestly don’t see me buying precooked chickens from stores knowing that my Foodie can cook it far better and in a short amount of time. I then decided to tackle steaks with my Ninja Foodi. Again, followed the instructions and the result was two juicy and gently crisped pieces of meat that danced on the tongue with flavor! What’s better is that it delivered the same deliciousness that I would normally get from my grill but without having to fire up the grill and do the grill cleanup. You can have summer flavors in the winter. Maintenance: If you’re familiar with the Ninja brand, you’ll know that they make their cookware so that it cleans up easily. That’s no different with this Foodi. The removable pot and the racks clean up with soap and water or you can put them in the dishwasher. Easy peasy. So Much More: The Ninja Foodi includes a recipe book with a plethora of ideas including cake, jerky, and yogurt. And that’s not including what you can discover regarding recipes on the internet. I love this Ninja Foodi a lot. It’s a huge step up from my previous cooker and I am so happy that I upgraded. As I stated earlier, I love cooking but am not a professional cook but I feel like one with this Ninja Foodi.

excellent machine, but.....
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first taking this machine out the box I was concerned if it was gonna be one of those machines that with all in does, would take forever to learn the buttons. But after a quick look at the instruction pamphlets, it was pretty straight forward. After playing with the function buttons for a couple of minutes, I got how it operated. This unit comes with many accessories as well, and you would think it would considering all those functions that it does. When I got my first air fryer, it really was a game changer in my kitchen. I use my air fryer all the time. Everything else, maybe once or twice a month. And there lies the problem for me. First, and this is a personal issue, it doesn't look very attractive on my counter. That is relative to the look of a kitchen, so I can't personally knock Ninja for this. Second, and this was the big one for me, is that it is top loading. Since I use the air fryer function 90% of the time, I don't like not being able to pull the drawer out and shake up the food. Flipping the lid and pulling out the basket to do this was not my prefer way of doing it. Sounds silly, but it really was annoying to me. Obviously I understand that to perform some of the things this unit does, it has to be top loading. But for me, considering I hardly use the other features, I will stick with the drawer style air fryer. Other than my own personal issues, this unit is solid. It is easy to navigate and comes with all the features most people would use. I can see how this can really be useful for someone who wants less clutter on their countertop and just have 1 machine. I'm probably one of the few people that this wasn't meant for me.

Make way for the heavy big boy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received the Ninja Pressure Cooker and whoa this bad boy is heavy! Unboxed it and had to make counter space because it needs it. To anyone who has never owned a pressure cooker, expect alot of trial and error. I followed instructions both in the manual and on the products. Let's just say I had to remake several dishes before I figured the right settings for each type of food. Once you get the hang, it works as expected. Fries are crispy and cooked through. Broccoli cooked just as well. It's nice to have, but just be patient and learn from the mistakes.

Great product by Ninja!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, love this product for its elegant look. Air fryer capability is awesome, tried a variety of dishes with this amazing pressure cooker and am very impressed with the results. The display is cool and is super user friendly. The only reason I have to reduce a star is because it is super heavy and takes a lot of space on the countertop. It is not suitable for small kitchen spaces and it isn’t portable. Otherwise, this is an amazing product by ninja and would recommend to anyone!

Good cooker with design flaws
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this product in exchange for my fair and honest opinion. the Ninja Foodi 14 in 1 Pressure Cooker Steam Fryer with smart lid is a good cooker. You can make anything you'd like it in, from pasta and meatballs to a porkchop that'll be the juiciest you've ever had. The controls are simple to use and everything about this is well designed, except the lid. If you cook things that splatter behind the coil, cleaning can be difficult. If it was easier to clean, I'd rate it higher. However, as an "it does everything" cooker, the Ninja Foodi 14 in 1 is good.

Love it! No mess at all!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned a previous airfyer with multiple functions and it was great, but it would make a mess each time I used it. I love Ninja products and have rarely been disappointed with their quality. This time is no different! This airfyer does it all and I am not exageriating! I am honestly not using my kitchen as much anymore, and I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing, but my food is delicious! Quality Built: This thing is built to last. It’s super stirdy and no loose parts of this at all. Accessories: It comes with a reversible rack, a cooking pot and cook & crisp plate. I wish it had more accessories that came included, but these work for me. I find myself adding tinfoil to the reversible rack whenever I am baking/roasting vegetables. They come out great! Sound/Noise: It can get a bit loud, but nothing too disturbing. I don’t mind it. I can leave my food cooking and come back and it’s done! Cooking Features: I haven’t tried them all, but all of it is there. I am really impressed with everything this thing can do. It’s amazing!

Fast and Quite - like a Ninja
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like to air-fry French fries, frozen biscuits, and veggie tater tots. My dedicated Air Fryer, like a traditional oven, has adjustable shelves and includes a host of trays for various food items. For something like French Fries, spacing out the fries on different shelves is not ideal, but for something like biscuits or cookies or chicken tenders the trays are perfect. With this Ninja it comes with one tray to separate the top and bottom which means it's excellent for tater tots and French fries where you can just toss the entire bag in but not so great for food items like biscuits or frozen cookies where you want more separation with larger batches. This thing is excellent at pressure cooking stews and solid chunks of meat or poultry with the results coming out succulent and perfectly cooked. Overall I think if you're looking for a new pressure cooker and steamer that occasional needs to air fry, this is a great unit to pick up.
