I must admit that after reading some of the negative reviews i was a bit skeptical. But after purchasing I must say that I have never felt better about product than i do about this blender. I purchased it for my wife and she absolutely adores it. After blending, the end products are always well done in only a few seconds. When I consider the thought that the engineers put into manufacturing this device I can't help but be totally amazed. The blades are extremely sharp and I don't have to worry about a child pressing a button on a idle blender and have his or her fingers cut off, because the blender will not operate until the jar is in place and securely closed. Safety is a huge measure for me and I am totally satisfied with this purchase. Well done Ninja!! I will need to get another for my mom.....

Definitely worth the money.. since it has such a high power you can make anything from protein shakes to smoothies easily the removable blades make for an easy clean up and the suction cups on the bottom make it hard to knock off of anything so safe for parties
