B4 I bought i checked Consumer Reports ratings and reviews and they said it was best blender family after the much more costly (3 - 5X) Vitamix(es). I then did my price search, bestBuy was as low as anyone else, and luv BestBuy anyway so bought it there.

very good ability to mix up frozen fruit smoothies. easy to clean. really love the small cup attachment blade for single servings and the lid transfers on to it so less clean up required. easy size to manage. my old ninja blender literally exploded off a chunk of the plastic blender wall trying to break up a frozen strawberry and square ice cubes so i hope they have reinforced the plastic on these newer models

We bought this specifically for smoothies and it does a great job. So far we've only used the cup, so I can't speak to how well the pitcher attachment works. It's quick and powerful, though pretty loud. I would like a larger cup, but Ninja doesn't make any for this motor, thus the subtraction of one star. We got it on sale and I feel like it was a good deal, though not for the full retail price.

this is a superb item. has lots of power and super sharp blades. came with two smaller shake cups for smoothies. it is expensive but so far we love it. have had it for over a year now. and not a single complain. we love how easy it is to wash .

Easy to handle, fast results and excellent product.

Very happy with this purchase. I use the small container to grind coffee beans for a fresh cup of coffee whenever. For mixing a vegetable smoothie this is perfect. A juicer does not give you the vitamin rich pulp that a blender will. A weaker blender may be good for a quick protein shake mixing because it's faster. If you are looking to mix veggies so they are drinkable this is the unit to use. You may need to add some water or juice if to thick to drink. I've used it to mix parsley and celery into a fine liquid to make a health drink. My weaker blender would leave chunks. This one is perfect, it just does take a little longer to use so if I mix a fast protein shake(powder and water) I will still use the old weaker blender I have.

Admittedly, the blender I had previously was so god awful that almost anything would look great when compared to it. However, the Ninja would be great compared to just about anything. Protein shakes mix smoothly and don't leave build up on the sidewalls. The single serve cups are used so much more than I would have expected. Highly recommended.

It works great, and I absolutely love that it has both the big blender pitcher and the single serve. I've been making smoothies every single day and it doesn't take long and it's well blended. My only annoyance is that it's hard to find extra accessories that fit. There's so many ninja products and it's very confusing to know what will fit what.
