Nintendo - NES Controller for Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition is amazing for anyone who grew up when the NES first came out. I love feeling like a kid again when I play the NES and having more controllers increases the fun. Even if you are not a kid when the first NES came out I highly recommend you still try the NES out and it's controllers.

The device is just as original just wish cord was longer or wireless.

Just like the original NES System the Classic NES System also only comes with one controller. This is not good for households where you have two people who want to play two-player games and not share a controller. Enter this product which is just another controller that will plug into the extra port on the system. It works as needed and is recommended.

If you grew up with the original NES in the mid 80's to early 90's, this is the exact controller you know and love from your childhood. A d-pad, two face buttons, start and select and you were ready to take on the world with one of the best controllers up to that point. While this is pretty much a replica but for the NES classic, the abysmal cord length is what holds it back from 5 stars. It's barely 3 feet in length so an extension cable is a must unless you really long HDMI and USB cables.

This controller works great. It feels just like the original.

This controller is identical to the one that ships with the NES Mini. Other companies make their own versions, some that are even better in some respects, but I wanted the same one so visually they looked identical as a set. Unfortunately, that means this controller still has the shorter cable that only provides like 4ft of length from the console. But for $10, I was happy to purchase for use in 2-player games.

The controller itself is great. Just as good as the original NES ones. I subtracted one star because the wire is so short.

It was fun to be able to play the same games my son and I played when he was a kid. He's now a 40 year old man but I was transported back to the good old days of when he still didn't mind hanging out with Mom. This second controller was impossible to find but now that we finally got our hands on one, it works just like I remember.

I wish the cord was longer but it works and feels great

The mini NES only comes with one controller so we really wanted to get another one. This one is the official extra controller you can get. The same as the one the game console comes with. As with the controller that comes with the console, it is short but an extension cable does the trick in solving that issue.

Has a short cord and is not the most comfortable, but it is true to the original has is good quality.

A classic revitalized. It is awesome to be able to play NES classics in HD. Having the Nintendo controller makes a huge difference in comparison to third party controllers. The difference was really seen in the input lag. Its greatest downfall is the super short cord...definitely purchase an extension cord!

This is definitely needed for the NES classic. The system itself only comes with one controller so you’re going to need an extra one. It even comes with an extremely short cable to plug into the system to really bring back those found memories of hugging around the tv to throw down on super Mario bros 3.

Maybe I forgot how small the controllers were in the 80s, but this controller is a must have if you purchase the Nintendo Classic Edition. You also need extenders. This controller has a small cord and you might lose your eyesight with how close you have to sit to the TV. Works great though! Enjoy!

Make sure you pick up an extra controller if you get the NES classic. The classic only comes with one in box, unfortunately. That said, it's a good controller, identical to the one that came with the original NES. Pick up the extension cables though.
