I wish this had more games, but this is a nice gift to anybody who grew up in the 80's playing video games. It took me back to the good old days of being kid and not having a thing to worry about. the controller cables are a bit short but overall it is a nice toy.

Works just like it did in the 80s! You need the extended cord as the cord is too short

I was hoping this would be the original Nintendo controller and it was! it works just as good as the one in 1986 worked when my dad first purchased me a NINTENDO NES system. I am very impressed with this controller + you can't go wrong with this for only $9.99. Just buy one!

I’m glad I was able to finally find the Nintendo OEM controllers at Best Buy. The retail price of $9.99 is much better than some aftermarket controllers that cost more. The only thing I would change is the short cable.

This controller is a must have for the NES Classic since it's only way to play as Player 2. It looks and feels just like the original but I wish they would have given out this controller with the system as the original NES came with 2 controllers. It's a basic need.

This controller is good, I purchased it because I found out that the NES/SNES classic controllers also work for Wii motes! Great neat feature I found out about. This controller replicates the feel of 80's classic gaming,

Controller quality is as it should, excellent. The cord length is way to short.

Of course if you buy the nes classic you have to have another controller to play with a friend. Nintendo should have included this in the console & made the cord longer so you don't also have to buy the Extension cable. Way to get more of our money Nintendo.

Great controller and feel. Just like the original. Wish cord was a little longer.

I waited a year and a half to have a second controller for my NES Classic. Glad to see that Nintendo remembered to make more for the 2016 batch of Classics. That being said, these are better than any 3rd party replacement produced for the NES Classic!

This controller is ment for player two with the NES classic edition but will also work with virtual Console games on the Wii or Wii U if you plug it into a Wii remote. It has the build quality associated with Nintendo products and has a 3 foot cord just like the one that comes with the NES classic. l would recomend a extension cord for it.

This controller is just like the original ones in terms of the buttons and the way they function. They are really easy to use, just plug and play. We used this for a second controller for the reissued NES game set, so we could do 2 player games.

This could have been a 5 star rating if the cord was longer than the 2.5 feet. There are extenders as well as wireless options, but nothing is as good as the original controller with the single wire. Hit and miss with the extenders. It's either buy the extender, or a longer HDMI cable to connect the system to the TV without sitting right on top of it.

It baffles me that the NES classic unit doesn't come with two controllers (kind of like how hot dogs are sold in packages of 8, but buns come in 12), but that's the man squeezing extra $ out of us, right? Controller is fine for what it does.

I picked up this OEM factory controller to match the one that it came with. I am looking forward to keeping this nostalgic system. Glad I bought it. Cord small so might need an extender or bluetooth controller can be purchased instead.

Makes my gaming system complete! It is the perfect match to the controller that comes with the NES, with the same drawback of having a very short cord. Works great though and looks just like the originals. I only took off one star because the packaging was smashed when I opened the bubble mailer, really bad shipping on bestbuy's part.

The NES classic mini only comes with one controller, and of course one of the kids accidentally broke it. I bought 2 of these and they were perfect (one to replace the broken one and one to be able to play 2 player games).

The NES Classic Controller is a must have accessory for the NES Classic Edition. It looks and feels exactly like the original version from 1985. However, I highly recommend purchasing the cord extensions along with this product.
