This Nokia 2 has a great out of the box experience. It powers up very quick and lands you at the home screen very quickly. The screen is very clear and sharp. It feels nice in the hand and doesn't lag very much from screen to screen. The elephant in the room is that this phone is very low in specs - but this does not detract from the user experience as Nokia has pretty much left a virgin Android build with no bloatware. Android Nougat is native to this phone. UNLOCKED too! Worth it? Oh yes! If you are a savy shopper, you can pick-up a Cricket SIM and $60 refill card - this is useful if you don't already have a nano SIM that the Nokia 2 needs. You're paying $50 including tax after you apply your credit to Cricket and deduct $10 that Cricket would charge you had you went into the store to purchase one. If you need a phone and don't want a gaming device - this phone is very sharp and well worth it. If you are wanting a performance computer in a phone, skip this sub $50 phone for something in the $800 range.

    Very Low Performance.

At glance, the phone is pretty, has a rigid aluminum frame that gives you the impression of a solid phone but don't get too enthusiastic about it. Once the Phone started to work there are several issues with the phone: 1) for a 100 USD phone, the memory is very poor, just 8 GB considering that more of the half goes towards the system. 2) 1 GB Ram makes the phone so slow, it takes ages to open or switch from one App to the other, therefore is very annoying to accomplish minimal tasks. 3) Charging, for several days I could not get the phone to surpass more than 50% of the battery life because in the display it shows that I needed 14+ hours to be fully charged. Don't waste your money, try to invest another 40/50 USD and get a phone with better performance. Low point here is that now that I need to return this crap, BestBuy charges me 35 USD to restock the device.

Solid feel. But that's about it

It feels solid, but I can't stand how slow it is. My review is based on maybe one or two added apps only and the phone is only 3 days old. If you click on maps, it takes 8-12 seconds to open, then 3-6 seconds to load. If you click on settings, it takes 3-5 seconds to open. That gets very annoying when you're staring at your screen waiting for it. I got it for the battery life, but it's not worth the daily frustration. Spend an extra $100-150 and get something faster.

I've been a nokia fan for nearly twenty years, and I'm thrilled they're back in the game and releasing Android phones. I adore this Nokia 2. Granted I'm using it as a secondary phone, but I'm considering buying another one to use as my main device.
