Customers are saying

Customers recognize the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti's excellent performance and competitive price, frequently praising its ability to handle high resolutions. However, some users report higher-than-expected temperatures and power consumption, along with occasional noise issues. A few also mentioned concerns about coil whine and the card's size. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and value outweighs the negative comments regarding its thermal and acoustic characteristics.

It’s beautiful. Great build quality and i get so much better performance with this card. Price vs performance is worth it. Was running an rx 6600xt and i get a 75% bump in it, its great. I can run all games on high settings and consistently get over 100 fps.

    A Awesome GPU

Coming from a GTX 1070 I found that my computer was welcome for an upgrade since the GTX 1070 was starting to show its age. Let’s just say this graphics card is awesome the RTX 3080 being $700 and twice the performance of a 2080ti that was $1200 makes this GPU an amazing value. It took over a year and waning patience but it all ended up being worth it. Dont give up boys if I can do it you can do it too!!!!!!

Strikes a great balance between price and performance. Next gen GPUs likely being announced later this year, but availability will likely be non-existent. Do not hesitate to grab this one while it is available, it will last you for years.

Runs great, temps get a little high under higher loads and coil whine is pretty loud at times. The rtx 3070 is definitely a better value over this card, this card isn't really worth the extra $100 performance wise. I was lucky enough to get a 3000 serires card with the extremely high gpu demand so I am happy with what I got. One thing I would have liked to see with this card is 10gb of vram instead of 8 for this price.

It was nice to have the opportunity to purchase a video card at actual MSRP. Of course I had to camp out the night before release to actually get one. So was nine hours of extra sleep deprivation worth it? I appreciate the overall performance of this RTX 3070 Ti FE. I also appreciate that the price of these founders edition cards is not being jacked up over MSRP like all the AIB partner cards. This card (RTX 3070 Ti Founders Edition) uses an included 12 pin to dual 8 pin adaptor. It’s rather short so I’ve invested in a custom replacement (strictly for aesthetic purposes). It’s certainly a plus that they included an adaptor for the currently non-standard 12 pin power connection. Note that Nvidia recommends at least a 750w PSU for this card and that you use two separate 8 pin cables from the PSU rather than a single to dual 8pin cable from the PSU to power it. Installation and setup is otherwise straightforward and just like any other graphics card. Download and install the latest drivers and commence enjoying the high frame rates at high or ultra settings and ray tracing at 1440p 144Hz like me. I don’t, however, believe the slight performance increase over the 3070 justifies the massive increase in power consumption or the $100 price difference. The major con is this card is power hungry to say the least. In my testing, under heavy loads at or near 100% the power draw jumps up to and sometimes over 300 watts. Don’t get my criticisms wrong. I immensely appreciate being able to get a video card and at MSRP with all that’s going on with the “GPU shortage” and other logistical issues at this time. If I had the choice I would have preferred to get the RTX 3080 FE instead. I feel it’s the better value to performance deal. But I consider myself lucky enough to have gotten any GPU. Finally I have to say that I appreciate the way BestBuy handled the drop, allowing only 1 card per person helps insure that at least some of these cards get into the hands of gamers and video content creators, not just e-coin miners.

It took awhile to get a hold of the card since I started wanting one for my new system in late 2019 but eventually worked out. It was a big upgrade from my gtx 1660 and it does more than I need. I didn't want to wait into 2023 to maybe get a 4000 series as again the 3070ti will last me 3 it more years for games I play. It runs great and handles my mix of dual monitors 4k and 1090. It does spin up a bit load when I push it under load but I adjusted down the speed and it helps. So if u don't want to wait or need the latest greatest card release it's a great running card with stable drivers. MSRP pricing was what I budgeted for and got. Can't complain.

This GPU is great. I love RTX on in my games. I got this specific model because of the availability at Best Buy and also its size. i'm using an Alienware Aurora R6 that doesn't have a ton of room for a monster graphics card in the case and my 1080 was showing its age a little bit. This 3070 Ti fits right in and all I had to do was adjust the fan settings to run on a curve based on the GPU temperature and there are zero cooling problems even with the limited number of fans on the case. I did need to also get a bigger PSU but that's probably going to save me money in the long run.

Got the RTX 3070 Ti Founders Edition a few months ago to replace a RTX 2070 Super FE. Performance is much better than the GPU it replaced, about 25% better framerates overall. However, it does use up a bit more power and runs a little bit hotter. But I can't complain as I got it at MSRP at a time when GPU prices were way inflated.

While the 3070 Ti is still on the "lower end" of the 30 series cards, this card is by no means bad. It's a monster, especially compared to previous generations. I upgraded from a 1050 Ti (RIP buddy, you served well) and the difference in performace was immediately noticeable That being said, there is little reason to get this card over say a 3070 or even a 3060 Ti. When it comes to "bang-for-your-buck", the aforementioned two GPUs excel in that category. The 3070 Ti is built on the same hardware as the 3080, but with less CUDA cores and slower clocks speeds. In other words, it's essentially a watered-down 3080, with only marginal improvements over the 3070. There's a reason the 3060 Ti on this store's page has more overall reviews and the highest overall average than any of the 30 series cards. However, if you've got the money and don't mind shelling out the $600 ($649 after tax) for this card, then go for it. It'll more than likely still be an improvement over whatever you still have. However if you are going to spend that kind of money on a GPU anyway, may as well get the 3080 Ti.
