Oculus Go marks a new era for VR, one in which anyone can simply slip on a headset and dive into virtual realms. Though not perfect, it offers a comfortable fit, solid build, excellent visuals and the promise of more great content to come. For the price, Oculus Go gives it's tethered older brother Oculus Rift a run for its money. FOR: Minimal screen-door effect Premium device for an affordable price AGAINST Sits heavy on the face Light comes through the bottom Battery-to-charge-time ratio isn’t ideal

First I like to mention The flexibility, since it does not have to be connected to anything else, is fantastic! Bought it for my 10 year old son and he has really liked it. The graphics are just good enough to feel engrossed in the games. Have not had to pay for any games as of yet, so the free ones have sufficed for my son. Battery life is low, at around 2 hours, but that is okay with me since it gets him off of it for a while ;). He is the main user and has not complained.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife. She had been intrigued by the ads for VRs and after another VR was not compatible with our phones, we got the Oculus Go. There are tons of free apps available although we are constantly encouraged to purchase apps to unlock different games. The headset is a little heavy for my wife but that has not stopped her yet. She loves the interaction with other players from all over. Our next plan is to purchase one for me so we can compete head to head.

We purchased this on sale. We wanted to play with the technology but not spend a ton of money. VR is very interesting and you really have to experience it to understand it. I was a little discouraged by the screen on this particular model but I also understand this is a entry level unit. I see a ton of potential in the technology. This is a good entry into it before committing big money.

This product is so fun, especially with these COVID-19 times. Gives you something to do and you can watch movies, play games, watch news etc, with other family members that live out of town. I play with mine plugged into the charger, so it stays charged. You start having issues if it the battery gets too low. It does get a little warm on the lens area, but we bought little fans to attach to the lens to fix that. :)

Purchased the 64GB version and very pleased with it. Been using it for almost 2 months and this has replaced my ipad when streaming movies. The Oculus app store do have a lot of different apps, both free and for purchase. The display is very good and the built in speakers and microphone are good too. I usually have my stereo ear plugs connected to the audio jack so not to disturb anyone else. As with any virtual headset I have to move it up or down to get it in the "sweetspot". The color and sharpness is very good, all depends on the content being streamed though. The controller is easy to use. It is very immersive when using it. They do have "events" that you can join with other users, from watching a movie, a comedy show, to a keynote event, makes you fell like you are there. Approx 2 to 2.5 hours of battery life hasn't been a problem with me. I do like to take breaks from gaming to watching movies. Very happy with the purchase and can't wait for the Oculus Quest when it comes out next year.

fun to use and graphics are realistic depending on the game. There is some lag or sometimes it doesn't read the movements from the hands. warning for those with motion sickness: put a timer on your gameplay as prolonged times can make you nauseous when you're done playing. or keep your eyes closed for a few minutes after you remove the headset as the room will look like it's blurry.

This product is a great value. If you do not currently own a VR product (PSVR, rift, Vive), then this is a perfect way to enter the VR space. Graphics are very good - not pixelated. FOV is acceptable. Available software at launch is impressive. The downside is that there is only 3 DOF, but at this price point I feel that is acceptable. It provides an immersive experience without the need to be tethered to a computer or gaming console.

Great headset the first time I used it I was blown away at how far VR has come in the past few years. The best thing about this headset is definitely the fact it has no wires attached to it. While that is a great feature the battery life is the downside and will only last about an hour or so of use unless you put battery saver mode on to increase the life by another hour or so at the cost of quality.

Look, this is an extravagance, but it is one that lives up to the promise. It has fun apps that let you attend concerts or basketball games. The apps are limited if you don't pay for them - there are free events, but limited. But i'd say the prices for apps or events are reasonable for what you're getting. It is not perfect picture - not 4k or whatever - but reasonable for what you're paying. I would say something like 720p.

Having looked at several of the options for home VR entertainment, this is a pretty good deal. This technology is only going to improve and this is a good introduction for those that want to play games, enjoy the VR experience and have some family fun. One knock on the system is that the battery life is only about 90 minutes. Add on a longer power cable as an accessory and that'll solve the issue.

good entry-level experience to see if you're going to like VR. i'd say if you've been to a VR arena or tried one and you know you like it, save up a bit extra for a quest. but i do really like this thing. one complaint is poor battery life, some demanding apps can drain it in less than a half hour, but usually you're looking at like an hour and a half :)

I bought this as another VR option to my Samsung Note 9. This is run off of the Oculus platform which is the same as Samsung. So, if you have an iPhone or non-Samsung phone this and want to VR get this today. There are so many options to do, games, movies, real-time chat with friends, and much more. Watch a movie or play a game with a friend even if they are miles away. Internet is required.
