Great device, love being untethered
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven't used an HTC Vive, I really appreciate being untethered/wireless. Battery life has been good, usually 2 to 3 hours minimum. Sharing to a TV has been a hassle, but not because of the Oculus, but because the Chromecast device does not seem to work all the time as designed. From what I've been able to figure out, a Chromecast is the only way to share to a TV unless I connect to a gaming computer.

Best VR headset ever!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I watch a lot of movies on the VR headset and the screen is very clear. Highly recommend purchasing an external battery pack because the headset will last about 3 hours (depending on your settings). Headset is not heavy and recommend using the straps for your touch controllers. You'll have to download the Oculus mobile app before you can start using the headset. Also if you purchase a google chromecast you can stream your gameplay to your tv, so everyone else can see what you see. Highly recommended.

Perfect Experience for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For those who are new to VR or have never tried it, whether they normally play video games or not, this product is an absolute must in life if you don’t already have a $1200 pc and $700 VR headset. This product is making VR commercial with its price and has capabilities that make the price sound like a steal. The Oculus Quest is giving people a WIRELESS experience of a product that’s amazement factor cannot be stressed enough until you try it for yourself. VR is the future and the future is now, fun for everyone. Period.

Super fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're wanting to get into VR or even have family and/or friends get into VR, this is perfect. I've been on it so much and it never gets boring. I recommend a game called "Rec Room" which is a game where you can go paintballing, rock climbing, fight through dungeons with people and so much more. You'll definitely love using this and playing anything. The feeling of doing everything yourself in a video game feels so much better and it's definitely a great change for playing games.

Simply amazing how far we have come
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pre ordered the oculus rift a couple of years ago and cancelled it because I didn't want to be tied to a cable. This thing is revolutionary. A lot of fun for the whole family. I have had everyone try this thing and although some say it makes them dizzy, all agree it is amazing. Easy to just pick up and start playing in a whole new world. You take it off and it puts itself to sleep to save battery. Put it back on and within seconds you are back in VR and whatever world you choose to play in.

Fun for everyone!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my son who is really into video games and wanted to play “please do not touch anything”. I ended up downloading beatsaber for my myself (slicing cubes at a high rate of speed with two light sabers while in a virtual world reminiscent of the set of Tron 1982 but way cooler) and wander (zapping yourself to any location in the world) and Tipp (exactly like it sounds but with meditations)

Upgrade Your Home
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, yes, and yes. The family loves this, especially in the lockdown era it is a great way to disconnect, and escape. The graphics, and interface is brilliant. The seamless connectivity with your phone is great. Use it for a delightfully broad range of activities, including a wipe out workout on the boxing platforms (bottle of water nearby recommended). So not just immersive gaming, its streaming, social remote play, reading, discovery...the whole enchilada!

Its a start to a new world
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's great, due to it being portable and easy to use. Lots to do. Drawbacks are that only a few games are really available for free but if you have cash sitting around. You will have a place to spend it. Also protected cases are still not available for travel. The only case available is made by oculus and is higher in price. If you are on tf he fence, go try it out in store or from a buddy. But most likley you will end up pulling the trigger if you do not have a PC that can handle regular vive or oculus.

Best VR Headset!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Oculus Quest is amazing! No wires and you can take it with you wherever you go. The Amazon movie app is outstanding and has you feeling like you at the movies. There are alot of games and alot more games coming. Also, you can connect it to your gaming computer and play all the games made for the Oculus Rift and Steam games. The resolution is incredible. It’s an awesome purchase for the money. Buy it!

Simply a great VR headset!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This really is a top quality VR headset. Not having to use eternal sensors or wires, makes it great for everyone. But you can still play PCVR games as well. If I had some nitpicks it would be that I constantly have to readjust the headset even after making sure all the straps are tight. Also the god ray effect when there is a bright image on screen can be pretty annoying. Thankfully it looks like stock of the headset is finally on the rise, so it will be easier to find one.

Everyone has been amazed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the original Samsung Gear, upgraded Gear, Oculus Go, Oculus Rift, and now the Quest. Everyone said "Wow" when they tried all of them for the first time but only after trying the Quest did some run right out and buy one or try to. I haven't touched my Rift since buying the Quest. It only takes a minute to set up and the sounds and visuals are comparable to the Rift. The best feature to me is the portability.

Mainstream VR is Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Completely wireless VR is something else completely. This being my first VR experience and I've been spoiled now. Games like Beat Saber, Super Hot VR, and VR Chat are incredibly fun and the dynamic of not having to worry about a cable dangling from my back is great! Plus if your PC is powerful enough to run PC VR games, the ability to use Oculus Link with any USB cable or buying Virtual Desktop to play those games wirelessly is just the icing on the cake!

Best non-tethered VR system
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent Quest VR that gives you the freedom of tetherless play. Yes, the graphics and visuals are just a bit less than a PC powered set, but still the Quest provides a great immersive experience with very acceptable quality on its OLED screens. Game selection is expanding slowly, but the half dozen that I've tried so far are simply amazing. Just invested in a third party headband as the VR goggles are 'front' heavy if you wear them for playing the duration of the 2.5 hour battery before recharging.

Easy to set up and use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My family has a PSVR, a Windows Mixed Reality Headset, and now an Oculus Quest. Love it’s ability to be wireless. It is truly freeing to not be connected to a computer or console. The big surprise is that there is no need for headphones. It feels safer not to have ears covered, coupled with the ability to suspend gameplay to view actual surroundings without removing the Quest. We are eagerly awaiting ability to play Oculus Rift and Go media with the Quest as it’s library feels limited.
