Buy It Now - If You Can Find One
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TLDR; Quest is absolutely amazing. Everyone who I have demoed it for wants to buy one. This is nothing like Oculus Go / Google Daydream / Samsung Gear VR - this is "real" six degrees of freedom VR like the big PC headsets. This means you can physically walk around, duck, crawl, etc. and your movements are represented precisely in the virtual world. No nausea-inducing head-on-a-stick like previous mobile VR headsets. You will feel like you are transported to an entirely different world. When you remove the headset, you won't have any idea which way you're facing or whether it's day or night - you are completely immersed in the virtual environment. This is as close to The Oasis from Ready Player One as is possible with current technology. I am a veteran VR user having owned the original Oculus Rift since October 2016. I purchased the Oculus Quest and the new Rift S on launch day with the confidence that Best Buy would allow me to return either if I didn't like them. Now my Rift S largely sits unused as 90% of the time I reach for the Quest for a quick dose of VR. Is the big PC headset superior - yes...but you won't care. The freedom this thing affords more than outweighs any of its negatives. You can use it on an airplane, at a hotel, laying in bed, on the toilet...basically anywhere not in direct sunlight. The battery lasts 2-3 hours on a charge but you can use it while plugged in. I velcro a 20,000Mah battery pack to my belt and run a 1.2m cable up my back and over my right shoulder and under the top strap to the USB C connector on the left side of the headset. The cable is out of the way and does not restrict movement and you get all day use of the device with no overheating concerns. The biggest problem is finding one - this is likely to be the hit electronics device of the year.

This is amazing.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Quest is far more sophisticated than the Oculus Go that we had. I bought this for my son (he is still paying it off), but I have played with it myself as well just to see the amazing views of far off places. My son has been boxing and burning calories - which is much better than when he plays on his Xbox. He has purchased multiple games and enjoyed all of them so far. Not a cheap product - I thought it was too much money initially, but it is very cool!

The Beat VR Available
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Oculus family has several options and we chose Oculus Quest. There are several other versions of this product but the quest worked for us. Oculus provides simply the Best VR experience around it's truly an amazing product self contained and easy to use. Best Buy was literally the only one who had it in stock week or two before Christmas at this price... And it arrived on time without any issue. I'm sure my son will enjoy it for several years!

Great entry point to VR
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Accessible entry point into VR. There are some fun games for everyone. Wish the unit was a little lighter as it feels fatiguing to wear it for longer than 30-45min.

Great GPS watch for professional tracking
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch has amazing capabilities with simple actions required to activate the apps on board. Downloading golf courses and other widgets is relatively easy. Starting up the watch did not require a lot of effort. The only drawback is getting the user manual for more detailed instructions which requires finding the manual on-line and then downloading it to your computer. Once you maneuver thru the widgets it seems to get less complicated.

Works great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first VR setso I nothing to compare it to. I only have beat saver and whatever free games they have right now. It is addicting so I don't pay attention to the unit so much or else I wont be able to do anything or get enough rest. My children broke the type c to c cable for the charger and they did not have any available replacement at that time so I just ended up buying an apple 6' type c to c cable and it works the same except it's a little shorter.

Overall Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nicely packaged and good quality. I had an Oculus Rift and a Rift S and for me, even though this one is the lightest, it was the most uncomfortable. That may be because I have big cheeks. I was keenly aware that it was sitting on my cheeks. I could not play on it for more than an hour, as it got pretty uncomfortable and it left huge red indents on my face. Now that could be just me and my sister has one and has not complained of the comfort. Aside from that I love the freedom of no wires. Some of my games from Oculus Rift were free to download on it, but Beat Saber required I purchase it again. Overall a great option for someone who wants VR but doesn't have a high-end gaming system.

Great VR headset
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I been watching this VR headset for a long time. I finally got it recently and purchased a few game. The experience is fantastic. You have to try it to actually admire VR. I played it almost everyday by myself with some games but when my friends are over, we usually play acron or beat saber challenges. It's a great device. Especially in this whole shelter-in-place, it's great to actually dive into the VR world and have fun.

The best all around VR headset there is.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the Oculus Go, Rift S and the Quest. The Rift S is a PC only VR headset and it works great for that. It's what I mainly use for PCVR. It's a 6 degree of freedom headset that doesn't require external sensors. You plug it in and it just works. The Go is what I use to consume media (TV shows and Movies). I love using it at night when I'm laying in bead. There's nothing like having a 300" screen in front of your eyes as your head is laying flat on the bed. Much nicer than having to tilt your head to look at a TV. It's also can play some games too. It only has 3 degrees of freedom which means you can rotate your view 360 degrees but you can move forward, backward, up and down. It also is a stand alone headset that doesn't need a computer. The Oculus Quest is the only headset that can play PCVR games and is a stand alone headset. You can play tons of high quality VR games on the Quest without touching a PC. I love playing Beat Saber on the Quest every day. The Quest can also connect to a PC to play PCVR games. This can be done using a cable with the Oculus Link feature or over WiFi using Virtual Desktop. The Quest is the best overall headset there is. It does everything at a cheap price. For only $399 you can do everything there is to do in VR. The screen is awesome too. It's an OLED screen so you have perfect blacks and the colors are vibrant. If you're not like me and can't buy more than on VR headset and you want to play away from your PC even a little bit this is the headset to get period.

The VR set that allows complete wireless exp
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only VR set that allow complete wireless experience is not just true but coming from PSVR where there so so many wires, it felt that you are getting a complete different level of experience where you don't get annoyed that you just lost a round of beat saber due to you tripping over a wire or that the weight of the weight is affecting the gameplay. It's a pleasantly new experience which I highly recommend.

The only VR headset to buy in 2019
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been interested in virtual reality ever since my college set up a VR Usability lab with different headsets for students to try. However, my VR experience was always marred by the bulkiness of the headset and managing the cables tethering it to the computer. Combined with the expense of a PC capable of running VR games, I never considered purchasing a headset for myself. That changed when Oculus announced the Quest. It took a few months, but once I got an in-store demo of the Oculus Quest, I was sold instantly, and I've been thrilled with it ever since. Oculus has done an excellent job with lowering the barrier to entry with the Quest - no cameras to set up or PCs to configure. The experience is very immersive, no doubt helped by the lack of wires. I've had very few problems with the headset and controller tracking across multiple different locations - though it does seem to track the controllers a little better on lighter-colored walls and floors. Every game I've played has run smoothly without judder, and even though the graphics aren't the same as what you would get out of a $2000 gaming PC, for the arcade-style games I tend to play it doesn't really matter. Space Pirate Trainer is an absolute blast, since you can move around to dodge incoming bullets without worrying about tripping over wires. If you're looking to dip your toe into the VR waters, the Quest is the only VR headset I'd consider buying in 2019. No extra hardware is required, the immersiveness is unmatched by other options in the market, and new games and other experiences are being added to the library every week. You won't regret getting one.

We love the Oculus!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had no idea what a blessing this gaming system would be. Our daughter has autism and has been stuck in the house. She puts on the VR for an hour or so and it's like she went outside and ran around for an hour. It is great exercise and there are all kind of options and different games. Everyone in the family loves it. We have a cheaper VR system that doesn't even compare. This is definitely worth the investment.
