Get a Rift
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't get me wrong, this is an amazing piece of technology and can give you hours of fun if you move around a lot or just don't won't any cables coming off of you. My advice is that over the month or two that I have been playing with the Quest, I have realized that the Rift S gives you so many more options as to what you can play. So if you allready have a decent up to date computer, I would highly recommend getting a Rift S for the same price, as you get better refresh rates, higher quality screen displays, and better tracking which leads to a smooth experience. If I could, I would return my Quest and get a Rift S instead. I hope you found this helpful and take my advice!

Oculus Quest is Great Fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Oculus Quest for my husband, who really enjoys gaming. He is very particular about his games and was not sure if he would enjoy a VR system. The look of amazement on his face when the demo started told me this was the right system for him. Everyone who has tried it has been amazed by the graphics and the VR experience. It took one month for the Oculus Quest to come in to Best Buy, but it was well worth the wait time.

Oculus got me hooked
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is off the chain! I first started with the Oculus Go just to see what the VR hype was about and wound up exchanging the Go for this. I am soo hooked on VR now, My xbox has been collecting dust and due to the workouts the games on here are giving me, I haven't even been to the gym since I got it! lol My only issue is the battery life. 2 hours are just not enough. If it charged up faster, i may not mind it as much but it is what it is I guess. Despite the battery though, I highly recommend Oculus quest!! So glad I have it! VR is amazing!

Revolutionary!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned the PSVR since day one and hadn't touched it in 2 years because of all the annoying cables and limited playing space. With the Quest you can essentially play anywhere! This machine is literally revolutionary! It's what Nintendo did to the video game business with the original system. Quest is the best VR experience out there.

Wireless VR is nice
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Relatively easy to set up and use. The VR headset tends to get slightly warm with some use and starts to feel heavy after prolonged use, but not having wires is a big plus.

Cordless!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.VR is similar to PS4 but it's cordless. Not great pairing with a TV but phone/iPad pairing is easy. Graphics on the paired device aren't great but at least others can see what's going on in the game. We mirror from phone to Apple TV as a work around. Supposedly it works well with Chromecast capable TVs. Charge lasts over an hour and recharging headset is easy and takes about 1.5 hours to full charge. Portability is awesome and downloading games is quick and easy. You have the ability to store games on phone in case you run out of storage on the headset itself. I opted for the 64 GB version knowing I could offload games to free up space. If you plan on buying tons of games, the 128GB version may be for you.

It is just fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just a fun gaming system. I like that it is all in one, but it does get a little heavy on your head and you get a good sweat playing very active games. I would recommend a silicone sleeve for the face mask. While it is not as comfortable as the padding it doesn't get sweaty and gross. Games are a little expensive and short, so watch for deals which they do all the time.

Now this TECHNOLOGY is indistinguishable from MAGI
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Oculus Quest leaves the gate with a thunderous KABOOM! What to say in a product review to convince you that, yes real deal affordable and bleeding edge quality is finally a reality. This hunk of magic has the ability to enchant even the hardest of hearts and closest of minds. The whole system is 3 pieces! Did I mention you can play this thing ANYWHERE! The Quest store is a joy to use. The headset launched with over 55 titles and it is rapidly growing each and every week. In fact,Oculus promises to have over 100+ titles by the end of 2019! Expect to get 120 to 180 minutes out of a full battery. If needed you can buy a external battery that will extend the time to 360 to 600 minutes. I have had my Quest since for nearly three minths and in that time I have gone from 284 to 251! This is not your grannies gaming. Quest games virtually require you to get up and actually do the action that is required for a in game situation. The store has many fitness related games if that appeals to you. Never before has exercise been this darn fun. The store offers something for everyone. The potential this machine has for education is truly a thing of beauty. Ever wanted to know what life was like for the Apollo era astronauts or the International Space Station inhabitants? Quest can put you in the shoes of these amazing people. I could continue to babble and hopefully convince you that this belongs in your basket, but if you doubt me...contact your local Best Buy and set up a demo for the Quest. Okay you are back from the demo?..... .....Booom! Mic drop!

A very great deal and wonderful experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great buy!! The only caution is that you have to build up to the amount of play time. The first time using VR only go for like 5 minutes, then the next day add another 5 minutes, and so on. You’ll get motion sickness because it’s such an unusual experience. BUT the motion sickness does ago away as you play more often. DO NOT get discouraged of your purchase it is incredibly amazing!!!

Just Buy It!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quest is definitely worth it. I was skeptical at first, but then I went and bought it and I have absolutely loved it! It's entirely wireless which I say is better than the rift S! The only bad thing about this console is the game selection, but even then, it has a lot of awesome games. I recommend superhot, beatsaber, virtual virtual reality, and pokerstars VR. Just buy it, you won't regret it!

Best Affordable VR
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical of the quality and immersion. But after trying out some games and some 180 and 360 videos, I was blown away. The immersion is so good, that you need good space in your home to be able to enjoy its full potential When gaming, because when you walk around your house you also move in game. Also watching YouTube or movies on it, is another experience on its own.

OCULUS
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing VR gaming unit. I bought this for my grandson, I want him to enjoy it but I limit his play time to 30 minutes because I worry about any physical and mental effects it could have. I play the games and watch the videos to see the effects they have on me and there are effects like neck soreness and headaches, so just be cautious with the play time with younger children.

Research Oculus Link! - PICKY on hardware
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this is a great device, and I was really enjoying the Oculus Link feature right when it came out, but after the desktop software updated from 1.43 to the new version convention (12.0) things got super buggy. They haven't responded since I pointed out that fact about the earlier version working fine, because they at first said - sorry, your laptop isn't Oculus certified. Don't get me wrong - I expect bugs in beta, but I went from using the new feature regularly shortly after launch to complete failure. It got to the point where I was spending 5-6 hours multiple times per week unplugging, replugging, restarting, factory resetting, reinstalling software, etc. FYI - the hardware I'm experiencing this with is as follows: Oculus Link Headset Cable - Direct from Oculus, $80 2019 MSI GS65 Stealth 9SE-478 Laptop 2.6 GHz 6-Core i7-9750H (9th Gen Coffee Lake) 32GB 2666 Mhz DDR4 Memory Nvidia RTX 2060 w/6GB GDDR6 VRAM But it's not "Oculus Ready". (Be honest with yourself - yeah, you may have checked to see if such a thing existed first, but it's easy to look at those specs and think you're all set.) Technically, it is 'enough'. But because, like most gaming laptops, my computer shifts between integrated and dedicated graphics - supposedly this is a problem. (Remember, this wasn't a problem until they updated their software.) Yes, desktop is going to be your best bet with VR, but perhaps Oculus needs to make a bigger deal of their "Oculus Ready" program, as most customers pay more attention to the PC manufacturer's labeling a product as "VR Ready" than anything else - and my laptop is! Search "Oculus Ready Laptops". I hope this helps someone. To avoid viola

Great Vr
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really Iike this thing. I have the PSVR but I hardly play it because of the setup and all the darn wires. This one is turn on and you’re ready. Even remembers your past guards that you’ve created throughout your house. Kids love it, guests are amazed and I really enjoy it myself. No regrets on this purchase. Love it. Must buy.

The Future of VR is Here!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be able to experience VR without cords and a computer is so wonderful. The graphics are amazing and the ability to track movement without having to install the sensors is absolutely amazing. This is definitely the hardware to buy if you’re wanting to experience VR now and be able to go anywhere with it. I take it on the road and use it in my hotel room. It’s just wonderful. Highly recommended!
