A bit heavy, but promising
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This consul is receiving a lot of support and the fact that it’s going to be compatible with Oculus link in the next week or two it was going to be incredible. It also acts as a stand-alone device. This is going to be the device TO GET for most people! If you want come for an a standard PCVR experience just go with the Rift S. If you want both and a semi decent PC experience while primarily mobile, get this.

This system got my Mom into gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally prefer the Rift between the two Oculus platforms but NEVER has my mom wanted a game system in her life. I got her this as a birthday present and she has played this thing nonstop and used it everyday. I love how Oculus got the simplicity of roomscale VR into just putting a headset on and just going.

Impressive VR Experience!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first VR headset and was really impressed with how immersive it was. I mainly wanted to try beat saber and it was so fun! It did take a bit of time for me to get used to the headset. Had to gradually increase the playtime to avoid getting dizzy. Glad that there is no Facebook login required for this headset. That is the main reason I would not upgrade to the new headsets.

It"s good, but...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want to get into VR, this is a good place to start. But... The games available for Oculus are still fairly limited and pretty much all range from $25-$40. A lot of them can be completed in a couple of hours, which seems steep to me. It seems like Facebook is resistant to embracing Oculus as a gaming platform, and more interested in pushing weird social-media stuff like "live" performances in virtual spaces. Like, I just want the games. There are some good ones. Beat Saber of course, Super Hot and a few others are worth playing. Going cordless is great and maybe worth it. But PSVR is almost the same price, even if you have to buy a PS4 to make it work. Just saying.
