This device is ok. The fan is loud during operation, but the surveillance of your vehicle is nice. The company has been sold to another company and support is non existent. Beware with purchase right now because you’re on your own if anything goes wrong.

When it worked, I loved it. Got it as a gift did not have receipt. It just stopped after 7 months and no customer support. Won’t return emails or calls. Don’t it it.

It's super easy to instal It's got a pretty good interface but can be a bit difficult to figure out how to go back to review things on the app. Somehow .. it sent a record to my insurance company & i even got a small discount on my insurance! The real tick is ... after a month they bill you to review things... Im still not sure how because they give you a month or a year free (still unsure)

Before they sell the Owl cam they are saying that "If you lose or someone steals your Owlcam, We will replace your camera" and I bought one. I bought the Owl Cam on Feb 6th 2020, and May 24th 2020 someone broke into my car and stole my Owl Cam too. I tried to contact The Owl Cam many many times but nobody answered my calls. I sent more than 10 emails and again nobody answered. I contacted Best Buy and they said basically they don't care. Honestly only the reason I bought this camera, they gave me a guarantee to replace it if something happens. A couple of months later will be one year since it was stolen and still not even a single message I got from the company. This way don't buy this camera believing it will be replaced. Since I had the experience to use that camera for a couple of months. I can say that works very well during the day or at night, even works well at night. Good thing its recording last 10 minutes and if you need to save some good moment with your friends or want to capture something on the road the footage always will be there to save. My problem with the app was, it's very slow, and downloading the footage to your phone or device will take a long time just be aware of that. And if you are parking your car somewhere closed like a mall garage or garage in the building, your LTE will not be working and you will never know what happened to the car. Because I was parking my car to the mall and 3 times someone hit my front bumper and I never had the videos. But always works when someone walks in the dark 500feet from your car and sends you footage about that.

Perfect camera for peace of mind, inside and outside of vehicle. Driving or parked, it is watching you vehicle. Super Easy Install. Plug in, run the long cable, mount on the arm, turn on and sync. How fast? took longer to download phone app then to sync and set-up - that fast.

This dash cam is great. It has built in wifi, so if you have a loved one you can determine their location, If you are set as the main, you can see inside or outside the car with audio. In the event of a crash whether vehicle is unattended or not a video will be captured.

Its a great dash cam but with a few minor issues one I get on any given day at least 3 or 4 false reports wondering if the company does it to make you waste your credits you only get 60 per month also takes awhile to connect to watch on your phone.But it's great to have in case you get into an accident or just see something cool say hey presto

I can’t even begin to say how perfect this camera is. Great quality and I love being able to check on my Tahoe anytime I want. While driving I have info I can use if there is an accident. Thanks OWL and BestBuy

I bought this owlcam on January 12 and it completely drained my car battery having to spend over $300 for a new battery been trying to contact owl since and no response from customer service since they have a 30 day buy back guarantee and a 1 year warranty. I then reached out to bestbuy and they could not offer any returns or support since I was not a elite member I only had a 15 day return period. How was I supposed to know that? Also you can see the reviews previously on bestbuy and owlcam Facebook page and numerous outlets this company has apparently gone bankrupt and left all of their customers in the dark. I have filed a bbb complaint as well.

Owl cam went bankrupt and Best Buy kept selling cameras with the one year free subscription and my service was shut off since the bankruptcy leaving me having to pay for it now. I didn’t get my one year free. Do your research before making purchases.

I loved the camera until they changed the subscription due to getting bought out by another cell company. Which then I never received my full year of a subscription with purchase. I would recommend it though due to the device’s quality and recording options.

Too expensive and they charge too much for LTE When it get hit goes dark Doesn’t recognize you when you enter car It fall off when gets too hot

Very straight forward to install. Super easy to use. Only "complaint" is the notifications, hyper sensitive!!! I get "possible damage" alerts for simply pulling out of my driveway! When I got the first alert it freaked me out. Aside from that. Everything is great.

With this smart dash cam I can monitor my car 24/7 from anywhere in the country, sensors work perfectly to detect any unusual incidents in and out, and the “ok presto” is very smart to capture fun on the road.

I liked but personally I don’t like to have a device In the lower dash. It’s good to have access of what is happening around your car every-were via your phone.

Does the job! However, at one point the original Owl company went out of business. After several months the new owners have restored the cameras to their full capabilities, with a paid subscription.

Connections via LTE are hit or miss. Even when everything shows full LTE bars. Wish this had a cloud function & video quality was better. Better than nothing & almost there to be the perfect expensive webcam.

When I purchased this camera I was ecstatic on what it could do. So much that I didn't pay attention to what it couldn't do. I drive for Uber and Lyft. I needed something that could ensure my security as well as a rider's if need be. As any driver knows, the majority of your rides are at night. This camera has ZERO low light visibility. No IR to see in cab after the sun sets and poor outside footage after dark. Would not recommend unless this is purely for your pleasure during daylight hours.
