I usually just make one cup of coffee per day, so I enjoy that OXO coffee pot is set up to accommodate that.

The carafe doesn’t seem to keep the coffee warm as long as I thought it would and the carafe lid rattles. I like that the water you pour into the tank is used for that batch of coffee. It doesn’t sit there until you make the next batch which could be the next morning or longer.

The versatility (pot or mug) is great and the timed delay of water dispensing to de-gas the coffee grounds is very unique at this price point.

Initially, after 2 weeks of use the pot overflowed but Oxo customer service confirmed there was an issue with some of the lids and sent me a replacement immediately. There has been no problem since then. This coffee maker is quiet and quick, brews a nice carafe (or cup) of coffee, and looks sleek. The coffee stays warm quite some time in the carafe without getting "burned" as happens with other coffeemakers with warming plates.
