I purchased one of these to put into my Hue setup with a bunch of colored bulbs to try to save some money - $50 a bulb can get expensive. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the white ambiance bulbs complimented my color bulbs - while they can only do shades of white (from cool to warm), they don't particularly stand out when your color bulbs are going to more exotic colors like purple or green. These bulbs also make great choices for Hue beginners who want to fill out their first room, but don't want to drop a fortune doing so. These given you enough room to play around with them and can easily be integrated into groups of color bulbs further down the line.

I have many of these bulbs. Works great with both Google Home and the Hue iPhone app.

Easy to connect, a great range of colors on the white, brown, blue range.

Goes from very bight white with a hint of blue to an amber candle like color.Very nice.

I bought some other smart bulbs at Costco and ended up returning them. But that was enough to get me hooked on using Google Assistant for the lights so I ended up buying the Philips Hue hub starter kit. The Hue system is extremely reliable and I'm very happy with it. I added these bulbs on sale at Best Buy and would recommend them without hesistation.

I bought these lights to be able to start automating when lights turn on/off and love them. Being able to set different lighting scenes is very cool. They also work great with the Amazon Echo for voice control. These are also much better than just the Hue white lights, as the white ambiance ones have a wider range of whites (from yellowish to blueish). The normal white Hue lights are more yellowish.
