The lights are really good. But the doble face tape is really bad. I got a different one by myself.

Great smart lights! The price point isn’t the best in the market but the user interface is easy.

I have not had a single issue with these lights or the connection I have with google. They are great. I need to reapply some adhesive to the strip I have under my bar, but I think it was because of poor application rather an issue with the lights. I got these on sale and I do not regret it.

Phillips hue products don't disappoint though they due tend to be a bit pricier then competitive products the quality is great and you know that you have a company that will be around and longstanding compatibility with other Philips hue's product if you can get this at a sale price it's a good by if you're looking for a Philips hue starter kit.

Some say Hue is expensive. I say what's the price of reliability and convenience. I have converted almost all my lights to HUE. I don't use them in my bathrooms. The light strip is BRIGHT in every COLOR and dims to a comfortable night light.

Have had this for over a year now. Love how it looks. Havent had it go out on me like other brands. Only issue is the adhesive. Had to buy several brands of extra strength double sided tape before I finally found one that worked.

Don’t pay for the Philips name…

1. The bridge
The hue bridge is a nightmare to update, it only works half the time, and you have to reload the app and power off the bridge in order for it to recognize the update has been completed.
2. Price??
Furthermore the price of these lights is absurd for the level of quality, and by that I mean the lack of.
3. Lights
Also the adhesive on the back of the lights is very poor, I had to use electrical staples to attach it, if you aren’t careful the adhesive strip comes off instead of only the top portion. This of course makes no sense why they cheaped out before on the receiver for the lights has 3M adhesive, but the adhesive on the back of the lights is clearly not.
TLDR: Don’t buy these, you pay for the Philips name, and they do not deliver on these products, same your money and go with something simple like Goovee, it works will all the smart devices such as google and Alexa.

lights work good, app is pretty easy to use. i didnt realize in order to sync the lights to the tv or game consoles you have to also buy a $200 hdmi device. Other than that i have had no issues besides it not being that sticky and starting to slowly come off where i placed it, but i am going to get velcro to fix that problem.

Works great as a light behind the tv. I use it in conjunction with another app (sports lights for Philips hue) that will light up and flash when my favorite team scores. It works excellent for that.
The adhesive could be a little bit better.

I wish this is a bit longer as I later bought 1 foot extension for cover the stairs. I might need another extension for basement stairs.
Also if you use two hubs it is a bit inconvenient to switch between them in the app.

Bought this after being overwhelmed by having too many apps for too many different light fixtures. I am transitioning my whole house to this after realizing how easy setup is and how it will be nice to have one app!

Got this to replace a bridge v1 that was no longer supported. Basically got the lights for free, so those will be going behind the TV. I haven't been disappointed in a hue light yet, so there's that.

Fairly bright but not sure it’s worth the steep price. Generally you just set the color once and never change it again, at least that’s what we’re doing with it. Paying a lot for functionality were not using.

Great LED lighting for staircase. Works like a charm with Hue Hub. Make sure you create a "scene" if you want the light to remember the brightness / color settings.

These lights are amazing but are a little too expensive for lights that can only display one color at a time. If that doesn’t bother you the light strips work great and can even be used with the sync box.
