the light strip is nice and can really accent a room. THE DIFFERENT colors make a room looked beautiful

I’m only giving these 4 stars because of the design. Lightstrips like these that have a plastic/silicon cover atop the LEDs tend to have a shorter lifespan. An LED diffuser would be better for longevity. Otherwise, they’re a great lightstrip if you’re a part of the Hue ecosystem of lights/want to use HomeKit. Doesn’t have section control, but Philips does make a lightstrip for considerably more money that will allow you to do that.

Added to rear of tv. It makes for good ambient light. On the expensive side.

Love these lights, I have two now and the only downside is that the sticky part doesn’t last forever. I have them on the back of my tv so it most likely is due to the curve/texture of the tv itself, but I just put some scotch tape on it and it’s fine! Also use them w the sync box.

I love these things but they're a bit pricey for their length but the benefits outweigh the price

Top notch led lighting. Really expensive. Ecosystem is big and software is awesome.

What a great deal, I've gotten them almost 50% off. Yes I'm aware it's the older version and they're probably just trying to get rid of the old inventory, but it's a win-win I think. I have bought 4 of these and I have an awesome Hue sync setup in my TV entertainment area now.

Hue lights are expensive but worth in the long run. I stick these to the back on my tv and reflect the light against the wall for a new ambient to the room and while watching tv. I have bought Hue lights for years and they work great. These are durable for sure.

Great addition to the home theater setup. I have a couple of the light bars mounted to the rear of the TV and the light strip behind the couch to create an immersive experience. Movies and video games haven’t been the same since. Highly recommend it!

Very easy to install and control. Wife loved the ability to change colors.

They do the job pretty well. For me, the biggest pro is and has always been the seamless sync with the Phillips hue ecosystem and hence all my entertainment systems. Also much cheaper than the new gradient strip, although that obviously has more function.

I'm in love with the Hue products. They have transformed my house into a beautiful light palace. I got these on sale, and the strip + extension were actually less than regular price of just one strip. I bought several and have ZERO regrets.

This is excellent if you’re in the HUE ecosystem. There are newer lights that have a better gradient along the strip so you can assign new colors; however, if you can get this at a decent price - then it’s really good!

These lights are awesome! The integration with Alexa and Google Home works well, better with Google Home. Movie night is even better now with the lighting effects. I wish there was music synch, but they are still awesome!
