    They can only really go in a straight line and even then the sticky tape on the back doesn't hold against bare wood it really needs direct metal or smooth surface. It also has to connect end-to-end for the extension and like I said unless you're running a direct line it won't be of big use. I tried to make it turn 90 degrees under a desk and it simply wouldn't bend at all.
