I just plain love this grill! It is a talking piece when people see it sitting on my kitchen countertop. Living in the Midwest, it is marvelous to be able to grill foods and not have to brave the snow and cold. I have cooked everything from shrimp kabobs, chicken breasts, steaks, brats and grilled zucchini and squash and they have all turned out great! The grill uses infrared heat which is ideal when thinking about the dangers of propane gas or chargoal smoke. The design of the removable grill top and sliding drip pan makes cleaning and maintenance a breeze!

Bought as a gift - sons family love cooking on the grill but not an option in current residence. Used once so far and worked great! Tasty steaks!!

Great smokless indoor grill, the food comes out amazing, and it cleans up very easily

My girlfriend absolutely loves grilled food (who doesn't?), but where we currently reside, we do not have the option of grilling outside. The Phillips Avance Collection indoor electric grill is the next best option, and it does not disappoint. The grill starts up quick and does not at all take long to reach 450°F. We've made a few different foods, including burgers and hot dogs. We've even used it to make breakfast! In every case, it's cooked evenly and left the food tasting great and very close to how it would taste on a gas grill. For someone who doesn't have access to a gas grill, it totally beats using a stove or oven. And very little to no smoke while cooking is a huge plus. Once we're done, I clean up immediately. It takes so little time to clean the little mess there already is thanks to the detachable non-stick grid and drip pan. The only substantial con is its lack of temperature control. You have OFF, WARM, and ON. A medium cook setting would make the grill even better. I can definitely see myself using this electric grill often, especially during colder months. I'd definitely recommend it for those that enjoy grilled foods but don't have the option to use a fire or gas grill.

I bought this on clearance and it was worth the 100$ unpaid for. Quick to start barbecue inside without having all the smoke but be-careful not to lay the meat to the edges of the grill or the fat will gone on the heat-pipe

This grill was too large for my counter space. Overall item was ok. Not for small kitchens. Would recommend but with caution as to size.

I love my smokeless grill. So convenient when I don’t want to use my outside grill. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick way to grill things inside the hone.

I am from Texas, and I take my drilling seriously. I cooked ribeyes for one meal and chicken breast for the other meal (didn't want to try vegetables to I get more accustomed to this). The steaks cooked pretty fast, the chicken took about 20 minutes same as my grill It warms up pretty fast, a couple of minutes. The cooking area has a very well distributed heating area. Clean up was also very east (LET IT COOL DOWN FIRST) only a couple of cons there is really only and on and warm, different proteins need different temps (such and meat and fish). I don't think I can do vegetables for a while. This did raise the temp of my kitchen up, so maybe more a winter grill. I did get some smoke, more from the chicken than the steak. this may be the fat. I will try skin off next time.

I’m somebody who cooks quite a bit and I enjoy grilling outside when the weather is good. On days when grilling outside isn’t an option, or if you cannot have a grill outside, this unit does the trick. The Phillips Avance electric grill is designed well, is easy to use and the food comes out tasting good. I’ve cooked a couple of steaks, some chicken and hamburgers on this grill now. The steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious. The chicken was okay, but I definitely prefer the taste of charcoal grilled chicken. The hamburgers were pretty good. Not having an open flame takes something away from the taste, but they were still good.. Just not really grilled flavor. The user manual comes with recommended cooking times, which I’ll list below. The grill only has two settings, on and warm. I wish the heat were more adjustable. I also think a lid would have been great, and would decrease the cooking times. The grill heats up quickly, there really is no smoke, or at most, very very little. The grill didn’t heat up my kitchen really and cooking over the bright red surface was just fine. Clean up was very easy, however there are some spots on one of the mirrored walls inside that I cannot remove with soap and a sponge. They are from grease/fat drip splatter during cooking. I’ll have to do some research and try to clean it with something harder w/o scratching the surface. If this isn’t something that I can clean off I wonder how many uses I will get until all of the inner reflective walls are covered with spots. Only time will tell. Overall this is a really cool kitchen appliance to have, and I will try to make use of it whenever possible. I’m excited to try grilling more foods and I hope the non-scorched / non-grilled flavor grows on me.
