I needed a new hard drive to replace a failing 1 TB 7200 RPM mechanical drive. I saw this and knew it would do to job, and provide extra performance. This drive did not disappoint! Of course it is not the fastest drive out there, but compared to a mechanical drive, it is faster.

Installed quickly, works like a dream. I would recommend this product.

I was fearful my 9-yr old HP laptop was in big trouble when it seized up. My Geek Squad buddies had the fix, installed the solid state drive and had my laptop back to me in 24hrs. And Wow! Factor. It runs faster now than before. For like $60. What a great upgrade.

Works great and cheaper than most brands. I used a clone software to move everything from my full HD, then switched it with this 1TB. No problemo.

Excellent ssd. Windows 11 is very fast with this ssd. PNY has never disappointed.

I can say that this is a pretty good SSD, its only minus is the lack of a separate memory buffer, otherwise it works properly put it in my gaming PC as the main one

Got this to revive an old Toshiba laptop we bought years ago. Hardware was fine years ago when we bought it, but it was unbelievably slow. Recently realized that while the spinning drive was alright and functioning properly, the entire system was always waiting on the drive to do anything. Decided that a SSD would be worthwhile to get the laptop running again. This drive has worked great, fit the 2.5 inch bay perfectly in place of the old spinning drive. Read/write are great and has save an old laptop that couldn't do much from becoming e-waste. Now the once unusable system can handle more than just small tasks and processing. Would definitely get this drive again should the need arise.

Easy to work with, fantastic price for the capacity, combined with the mounting kit it fit perfectly inside my client's older HP tower; loaded Win10 without a hitch with great performance. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Outstanding drive. Easy to use, small in size. Very fast data retrieval. Have it set up for Time Machine on MacBool Pro. I have much more confidence in this than other than traditional HDD.

PNY makes a quality product and this SATA SSD is a very good value for the money. Solid performance at a reasonable price.

My previous SSD in my laptop failed and frantically, due to lack of computer, I bought this. It was quick and easy to install, and has worked wonderfully ever since. It has been a lifesaver.

Inexpensive SATA SSD. I installed this in conjunction with a 1 tb M.2 SSD drive giving my old laptop 2 tb is internal SSD drives. An inexpensive alternative. Does not come with HDD disk cloning software.
