Good card. lacks linux fan curve. uses full vram!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this back in june 2017 for $219.99 before tax. I could have gotten the full 6gb version back then for only 20 dollars more($239.99). Still kicking myself on that one. I play on linux and finally got it working with elite dangerous recently. It can gobble up the vram even with high fps. 45-100% usage of the card at 95% potential vram usage. I could have used more vram in my circumstances. I'm hopeing best buy eventually does an upgrade policy for Video cards. It would be a very nice options. Especially with the card prices we have today. The only downside to the card I've seen is the default fan curve logic doesn't go up to 100% on load and the card can get up to 75C tempuratures with stock fan curve. This can be partially resolved by going into nvidias config program, thermal settings, clicking, 'Enable GPU Fan Settings', and putting it to 100% and hitting apply while playing. This can probably be resolved with things like msi afterburner for windows users(or dual booters?!). But as a pure linux user it's a bit annoying. I don't think it's listed as linux compatible but it would nice if there was a nice fan curve software out there for linux. With the fan up to 100% it doesn't get above 55C at full load. Probably closer to 52C. Idles at as low as 32-36C in my system. Besides that is seems to be a very good card. I was worried PNY might be a cheaper brand but the card physically is very nice and not cheap feelng at all. Highly recommended. But if the 6gb is on sale for 239.99 I recommend that over the 3gb model. Still mad I bought the 3gb version when I need something for longer term use.

Very comparable to the RX580
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a mid range graphics card. Don't expect any miracles with it and it is more meant for 2k gaming. I would suggest the 1070 or 1080 if you plan to do any 4k gaming or mild VR.

Great performance and design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this when graphics card's were on high demand and paid almost double the cost but the graphics and game performance made it worth it. I play Counter Strike, battlefield, and call of duty without any problems, I would recommend spending the extra money and getting 6gb instead of 3 to keep up with the newer games

Great card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great card and luckily got it before prices went up. It works well with games such as DOOM, WoW, Oblivion and many others! Great FPS within all of those games. I do wish I had gotten the 1080, but that's just me wanting to eek out more performance. If you're on a budget and need to pick up a great card I suggest you get this one.

Great Card For Great Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a really good graphics card around $200 and this was the best card I found for the price. It's handled Skyrim with mods and Fallout 4 with mods like a champ. Love the NVIDIA software that optimizes game play. It's not the most powerful graphics card out there, but it does a great job with everything I've thrown at it so far. Also VR ready when I scrape together the money for Occulus.

Great for an older card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the card is a few generations back, it works well with games that aren't graphically demanding by today's standards. If you're in need of an affordable video card replacement for a 3-5 year-old PC, it's a good choice. That said, it'll easily be out performed by 1070 or 1080 series, so don't think about installing it in a new PC because it could slow the system down.

Great graphics card
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did lots of research on graphics card and settled on this one since it’s been heavily praised and is well priced. I can easily say this was a great buy and saved me from buying a whole new PC. It runs games like GTA at 70fps average and fortnite up to 200fps. All at lower settings of course.
