Customers are impressed with the Poké Ball Plus for Nintendo Switch for its compatibility with both the Nintendo Switch and Pokémon Go, its easy-to-use design, and its portability. It also includes Mew, a mythical Pokémon, which is a plus for many customers. However, some customers find the price to be a bit high and have experienced connectivity issues with Pokémon Go.

My son loved this Christmas gift. He loves Pokémon. Not only is it for the Switch, but can also be used with phone app. I just wish it was just a little bigger.

For Pokémon Let's Go this thing is incredible. Yes it's just a controller with 3 buttons, but the audio feedback it gives really adds to the experience of playing the game. It also contains a Mew, which as far as I know is the only way to obtain one without trading. If you are someone who likes to get deeper into IVs and such you will need a normal controller or joycon as this doesn't have all the buttons required for that. For a first playthrough or casual players I truly believe this product enhances the game experience.

This controller makes playing Pokémon Let’s Go a lot of fun. Plus it comes with Mew! Bringing a Pokémon on a walk with it is also a nice feature.

This peripheral/controller can add a whole new dimension to Nintendo switch Pokémon games it can be used as a control to move and help capture Pokémon for go series. You can also store one Pokémon inside it and walk around to earn experience for said Pokémon. While in the ball if need the Pokémon will “talk” with you through noises and a series of lights flashing on the ball the experience factor can also be used for the sword/shield series but not controller purposes. Still my 9 year old loves it and uses the poke ball more than his joy-con

Good quality, sort of small, solid, sounds of pokemon and lights when pokemon are caught. The bad? Hard to sync. 2 of these to game, you will see if you try.

Very nicely constructed and the "Go For a Walk" feature is entertaining, but (if you're like me) wouldn't recommend it for normal full price. It's not something that really has any uses outside of the Pokemon games; and even within them it's focus is more with the Let's Go games. If you enjoy the Pokemon series and can find it when it's occasionally gone on sale for $20, then I'd recommend it for that price. Anything higher though, doesn't really feel like it would be worth it for that.

I hesitated in paying $50 for this thing but I’ll say it’s worth it for the ability to carry your Pokémon with you and take them for a stroll. I geeked out and carried it tied to my belt hoop all day lol. The pokeball actually has two buttons and a joystick on it and when you shake it, it acts as a y button. The pokeball also plays sounds depending on the Pokémon you are carrying in it. You can use it to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon go and when you pair it to your Pokémon go account it will spin pokestops for you

Awesome controller for the Nintendo Switch Game Let's Go Pikachu
Not only does it give you an awesome experience playing the game , but it also comes loaded with a MEW!!!! A very rare Pokemon !!!!
An additional feature is that you can load a In Game Pokemon to the poke ball and take it out with you while you walk. It gives the selected Pokemon experience and additional items the more you walk with it. It displays colors and the actual Pokemon's voice cry !

I bought this item over a year ago and its been very good for me. I am personally a pokemon go player and mainly use it for that game. It works very well when i cant take out my phone immediately and the colors are a nice feature of catching making it pretty fun. Sometimes it wont work although that mainly due to bugs on Niantics side with ongoing fixes for the go plus. So expect some connection issues sometimes

Designed to suit Let's Go (Pikachu or Eevee), this has an A button, a B button, and pressing both at the same time while playing will open the X menu (unfortunately, it's not compatible with newer games like Sword/Shield that use the Y functions). Pressing A&B together *outside* of the game will mute the ball, and one of the fun features is hearing the Pokémon inside while strolling. Really enjoying this!

It's not cheap considering its limitations, but the poke ball plus is a blast to use for anyone who wants to feel like a real pokemon trainer. I'm not big on the battle effects, but the way the ball simulates catching pokemon is pretty fun, down to the individual species sound made by the pokemon once caught. Also: Mew is a plus. I never jumped through all of the hoops to get one as a kid, so it's kinda fun to have one now!

This is a great all round accessory for Pokémon fan. I use it more for Pokémon go than I do for the switch game since I’d already beaten the game but it really does help being able to train your Pokémon when you’re not playing. I wish it had better battery life. I get about 2 days. I also wish it was a little bigger as a controller but then it wouldn’t be as portable for Pokémon go so overall it’s okay.
