Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the Poké Ball Plus for Nintendo Switch for its compatibility with both the Nintendo Switch and Pokémon Go, its easy-to-use design, and its portability. It also includes Mew, a mythical Pokémon, which is a plus for many customers. However, some customers find the price to be a bit high and have experienced connectivity issues with Pokémon Go.

Best if you play Pokemon Go AND Let's Go
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works best if you play both Let's go and Pokemon Go. You will get so much experience and candy for walking a Pokemon in let's go, and it will auto spin poke stops in Pokemon Go if you are walking a Pokemon from let's go (although it already comes with a mew that will auto spin if you don't take it out). It needs an internet connection to take mew out. It works great as a switch controller for let's go, but only that one game (does not work as a controller for sword/shield, but does let you take sword/shield Pokemon on walks). It will only use regular pokeballs from Pokemon Go and has about a 50% catch ratio. When it lights up green while playing Pokemon Go it means a Pokemon you have already caught appeared. When it flashed yellow it means a Pokemon you haven't caught yet has appeared. You then press the top button (which is almost invisible and has practically nothing tactile to let you know your finger is on the correct button). It will then flash red if you didn't catch it and it fled so you don't get a second chance, or flash rainbow if you have caught it. There is very little instructional documentation in the box so you really either have to look up how to use it on the internet or figure it out blindly. Overall it's very well built and feels great in the hand, but I do notice a tiny bit of creaking on mine after about a month.

What are you expecting?
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is exactly what it says it is. A poke ball controller that works with the Nintendo switch pokemon games. It includes a mew to transfer into your game. After receiving the mew, I have not used this controller but if you desire to feel like a pokemon master, this is the start. Buy this, drop out of college, and pursue your pokemon training dreams!

Great addition for game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used some gift money, and I am so glad that I purchased the pokemon ball. It was listed as working with the switch, but a friend has one and uses it with her phone. It took some brain power on my part (turning off the part that wanted to add it via bluetooth), and let the game add the ball. It is great, I can just turn the game on, let the screen go dark, and still spin and catch pokemon.

Great for avid GO! Players, still not perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got Let's GO for our kids, and wanted extra pokeballs for use with Pokemon GO! as well when traveling around town in search of that perfect raid. When it connects properly, the fact that the ball will spin your pokestop while you merrily 'catch them all' is a great perk. There are still some sync up bugs to work out, but this is a solid 'nice to have' for avid Pokemon GO players.

Great. Comes in handy.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great accessory if you are playing Pokemon Go. Easy to use, and RELIABLE. I tried a few other items like it, but they were basically garbage. I walk almost every day and don't want to be staring at my phone. I can carry this and still catch Pokemon and spin stops.

Great for kids!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This poke b-ball is great for kids to play Pokémon Let’s go with. Exciting and easy to use. It also comes with an exclusive legendary Pokémon, Mew, which is pretty awesome. But for $50, i really had to think about it. Wish it was little cheaper.

Having a blast
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly it is fun and pretty to look at. It works for your Nintendo switch if you have Pokemon let's go but more importantly it works as a Pokemon go plus to catch Pokemon and spin stops without needing your phone out all the time. (Still must have app running)

A Pokeman fan's perfect accessory
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally we can hold the pokeball plus and have some interactivity with the newer pokemon games. It feels high quality enough, though I wouldn't justify the $50.00 price point so I'm glad I nabbed it at $20. This is similar to the pokewalker and comes with a free bonus Mew code redeemable in the Go games or Sword/Shield.

Good for the Switch and the Xbox.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wristband must definitely be worn if you're walking around and the Poke Ball Plus can easily be dropped and the protruding joystick is susceptible to being damage because it protrudes so far from the ball itself but this protrusion allows for easier use. Submitted for my son and daughter who use the device.

Gives you a mew in pokemon sword or shield
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second pokeball plus, the first I bought with pokemon let's go pikachu and Its great for that game. For sword and shield, you dont get the controller functionality or the pokemon leveling that you get from let's go. However, you do get the mew and you still get items from walking with the ball.

Returned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great idea but not really for the pokemon go player in my opinion, the go plus is a better option. Its smaller, sleeker, and easier to play the game while doing other things. I would suggest researching both and figuring out what your best needs are.

Great Product
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before buying watch a few youtube videos on how use it, other than that absolutely love it! The instructions inside say how to charge and handle it but does not have details on how to use it. Poke ball was a lot smaller than I expected but it fits comfortably in the hand.

Decent game integration, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.actual usage is sometimes choppy and uncertain. In other words, using the ball button (very similar to a point tip on a laptop) to conduct actions is not always intuitive and reliable. However, these instances are rare, and in general the device works well - getting a few Mew pokemon is certainly a nice bonus/incentive.

Pokemon ball for the switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes the game more enjoyable. Perfect accessory, and integrates your actions as if you are a poke trainer. I wish it had instructions, Nintendo has failed not supplying atleast a website. However, there are enough videos explaining all the ins and outs. It add to Pokemon Go as well, and seems to be a decent inhancment.

Limited but fun controller!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is very intuitive to use with Pokemon Pikachu or Pokemon Evee. Easily control the game with one hand only. This Pokeball also has limited use with the new Pokemon Sword and Shield. Can transfer Pokemon from your game to the Pokeball and let them gain some gifts

Definitely Worth It
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A must have for any Pokémon GO enthusiast. Works great whether you’re catching Pokémon or spinning Pokéstops. If you’re driving, it will easily spin stops and gyms going under 30mph. The catch rate could be better when Pokémon are near but overall, it still does the job. A little pricey for my taste though.
