Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Poké Ball Plus for Nintendo Switch for its compatibility with both the Nintendo Switch and Pokémon Go, its easy-to-use design, and its portability. It also includes Mew, a mythical Pokémon, which is a plus for many customers. However, some customers find the price to be a bit high and have experienced connectivity issues with Pokémon Go.

    Pleasantly Surprised...

I initially purchased this product only to obtain the Mew Mystery Gift. At time of purchase, I had no intention of actually using this product to play Let's Go! Pikachu. However, I chose to use the Poke' Ball Plus one time, and I'm definately glad that I did. The Poke' Ball Plus is a fantastic addition; one in which will definitely provide you with a more pleasant experience. I have found the controls to be easy to use, and have found myself receiving more 'Excellent Throw' bonuses while playing; giving me greater experience points and easier capturing of Pokemon. I have not used the Poke' Ball Plus to take any pokemon with me on the go, but I'm sure it's an enjoyable added feature. From someone who was very skeptical of only buying this "sales gimmick" to obtain Mew, I can confidently say you will enjoy using the Poke' Ball Plus.

It’s a fun controller and definitely gives you the full experience of playing Pokémon. I wish there was more buttons besides A & B. Also pressing A is sometimes annoying because the toggle just thinks you’re moving but overall it’s worth it. Especially when the colors change for each Pokémon you catch! :)

I used this as a controller for playing Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu. It worked well, very responsive. I preferred using this controller to catch pokemon over the standard Joycons. There's an added bonus if you play Pokemon Lets Go. It automatically picks up pokestops as you pass buy them.

its very limited in what the pokeball can do for switch games. I use it for pokemon go. I wrap a hair tie over the top main button for a make shift auto catcher. Type c, like 8 hour battery life, and pokemon center chime when you plug it in. Its cool.

If you have the money, it is great fun added to the game. The vibrations and sound it makes, along with LED changing color based on the pokemon it contains, are a delight. It is a bit easier to navigate the game with the normal joycon, but the catching is much more fun with this.

Originally bought this only for the Mew, but I ended up actually using it for it's intended purpose (leveling pokemon on the go). Connecting it to my Switch was a bit weird at first, but overall it's a cool little gadget for Pokemon.

Pokeball controller works very well in Pokemon GO to catch and spin stops. Sometimes it takes a bit to connect to the app. As a controller for Pokemon Let's Go, it works fine, but is missing some functionality due to only having two buttons. Navigating menus is a bit of a chore.

    Fun accessory for Pokemon

This accessory makes Pokemon: Lets Go a more enjoyable experience in that it lets you rank up your Pokemon by playing with it or walking. It also serves as a controller to play the game, but you have to make sure that the ball is indexed correctly or you’ll be walking the wrong way.

If you play Pokemon Let's Go it's your only way to get Mew. More than that if you play Pokemon GO it works much better than a normal Pokemon go plus in that it auto spins stops and you don't have to worry about replacing the battery as it's chargeable. Highly recommend

Catch Pokemon and spin at pokestops with the press of a button. Since you don't have to look at your phone you can safely play while driving. I am using my pokeball plus with my Android cell phone and my only complaint is that it disconnects randomly.

I got 1 back when let's go came out and loved it with the game and using it for go as well. The mew can be transferred to Sword and Shield, but only if it's not been redeemed on another game. Hence why I bought another. Love the ball either way though!

It’s cool and all but I don’t really think it’s worth the money (and I got it very on sale). It’s just as easy to play without it and this just makes more to carry. It is a cool concept and I didn’t test it on the switch.

It does what a Joy con does but is very specific to only the Lets Go pokemons series. Technically it can be used for other games but not really intended to do so. Comes with a Mew Included, and is compatible with Pokemon Go

    Unique but not useful

I bought this for the sole purpose of obtaining a Mew on the new Pikachu/Eevee games that were released. Literally the only reason. The controller has some unique functions and it's fun to use, but for me personally, I really like using the normal controllers. When catching Pokemon, the device has to be thrown in a specific manner and specific position to be thrown correctly/in the right direction in the game - especially if, God forbid, the Pokemon moves to a different part of the screen. This wouldn't really matter to me unless, of course, you're on a catching streak trying to catch a shiny Pokemon, then this might be the bane of your existence... Would still recommend it because, yes, it's fun to use and pretend you're holding a real Pokemon ball and about to submit a creature to live into a small, confined space for the rest of eternity.

After getting it set up on her phone for Pokemon go she won't go anywhere without it. Driving around town or walking through the park the ball will spin any and every stop that we go past immediately even while catching Pokemon. My wife has talked about how much she likes it so much my daughter is now asking for one for her birthday.

This is the best gift for Christmas if you have a child that loves Pokemon. It even comes with Mew as a character. Fully compatible with Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu game for the Nintendo Switch. This will not disappoint.

This works as a controller for the Pokemon Lets Go! games and also comes with a Mew inside. It's the only way to get Mew in Lets Go! or Pokemon Sword and Shield. It also works as a Pokeball Plus for Pokemon GO

I would prefer to use regular controllers over this but you can use this one handed which is an advantage it has over regulars. The battery lasts over a week if you’re simply walking around with a Pokemon in it.

Since Let's Go Eevee is reliant on motion, this Poke Ball gives the user the feeling of actually throwing a Pokeball to catch pokemon. Charges up and last forever. Definitely a must have.

The pokeball works pretty well but honestly it's not needed. $60 is a bit much for another, smaller, controller and to take pokemon on a walk with you. I'd say stick with your original controllers and save your money :)
