This speaker is good for what you pay for. Theres speakers that give you boom boom boom and theres speakers that step it up and give you clean sound when pushing it and still get the good boom boom when you turn it up. I got the rest of polk surround tower speakers. Alone they give yoy a good punchy low. But for sure to get a much much bettta punch get the sub.

This is a great center channel speaker for a reasonable amount of money. You can't go wrong purchasing this speaker. I use this center channel speaker under the tv in a tv cabinet. An Onkyo 5.1 channel amp drives the speaker. The base and tonal quality is good on this speaker. Its a huge improvement over the old speaker.

This is a large center channel speaker given the size of the cones. Some might find the size inconvenient, but that size also delivers good sound at lower frequencies. You'll definitely hear it with deep male voices. Matches really well with Polk T-50 tower speakers as fronts. The clarity might not be as good as more expensive center channel speakers, and definitely don't try to play this at high volume (which might make this inappropriate for large rooms), but for modest volume levels, the bang for the buck is incredible.

This is the only Polk center speaker to buy. First bought the smaller T-1, which is very good for cramped locations. But put it aside for the T-3 which does the job of handling speech and mid range above and beyond its claims. So, spend the extra $40.00 and you will never regret it!

I got this center channel speaker along with a pair of the T50 towers and they sound absolutely amazing, I was considering a sound bar with subwoofer but the sound from these Polk audio T series speakers fill the whole room and the Bass Is so good I don't even need a sub woofer.

After upgrading my main and surround speakers I found that while the sound was great the voices were over powered which is why I ended up with this speaker. I'm glad I did because the voices are perfectly balanced now. For the price I don't see how you could get a better deal.

Purchased a pair of T15 bookshelf's, 2 T30 center speakers, and 2 T50 tower speakers with a Polk PW505 12" woofer. These speakers are awesome! I cannot get over the quality of these speakers especially given the price! You can't go wrong with anything from Polk audio!

I purchased this speaker for my 5.1 Surround Sound audio system, and it works even better than I expected it to. If you have an A/V receiver, but you're just taking advantage of your usual Right and Left Stereo speakers, this product is a MUST. You become more immersed in the content you are watching, and the center channel speaker allows for film's music, action, and sound effects to take advantage of those Right and Left speakers, and not overpower the dialogue of the film. If you enjoy movies, invest in this product, because it allows you not just to watch movies, but really experience them.

Had a older center channel speaker from a previous speaker set. Updated to Polk about a year ago but kept previous center. Shop Black Friday And Cyber Monday. Came across this item at half price but carried great reviews. Got it, love it. Good investment.

Bought this center channel speaker because my old one was a little weak so dialog was kinda hard to hear sometimes. Got it for a huge markdown, but would be totally worth the full price. Solidly constructed out of sturdy black wood with good quality screw in type connectors. Powerful bass supplemented by my sub. Like theater quality sound. Crystal clear dialog. Punches way above its weight in terms of price. Polk audio makes great speakers.

My older Polk (15 years old) center speaker had given up the ghost. Polk speakers have a natural warm sound like the person on TV is actually in the room with you and not on TV. These speakers sound great and give a great presence without allot of volume needing to push them.

Sounds great. The only thing is it's too tall to sit in front of the tv.

The Onkyo center speaker I was previously using was not very strong in the midrange, and the dialogue would get lost in the background noise. No amount of AV Receiver tweaking could fully overcome the issue. I have some hearing loss in voice frequencey range which further complicates the issue. After much research I decided to try this Polk center speaker. The difference was immediately noticeable. It provides a full, rich sound while also providing crystal clear dialogue. I was able to lower my AVR gain settings for the center speaker, and I can also watch shows at an overall lower volume level than before (which my family appreciates). Can't say enough good about this center speaker. Very satisfied.

Pros - affordable, sounds amazing. Helps with dialog not coming across with overpowering surround sound. Cons - Just a little bulky, but it doesn't bother me much.

Replaced Sony center channel with this bad boy and it has made a huge difference. It’s a bit bigger that wanted, but I made it work. Worth the investment.

Very clear and loud. I bought my surround system piece by piece and this was the last speaker to complete it. Very good speaker for the money.

Totally blown away by the clarity of this speaker. Dramatic improvement over my expensive sound bar. I can actually hear the dialogue now. I can increase the output of my center channel on my reciever to compensate for my distance from the tv. I paired this with 6 T15 polk audio speakers and a Sony sa-cs9. Powered sub. Along with a 7.2 reciever . Watching movies on the 4k big screen Samsung takes on a whole new meaning to movie night. No more leaning forward to hear what there saying.

When I originally made my speaker purchase I only got the sub, bookshelf, and two tower speakers. I wasn't originally going to purchase the center speaker. They were on sale and I decided why not, so I ended up adding this to my collection, one of the best decisions that I made. These speakers are awesome. I haven't gotten to crank them up too far as I don't want to anger the neighbors, but from what I've heard from them so far, Polk speakers in general are definitely worth the money

Sounds very good for the price. Give a good amount of bass also.

We have 2 Polk tower speakers that we have been very pleased with. However, my husband is hard of hearing and the movie dialog would get drowned out by the background noises/sound effects/etc. It was recommended that we purchase a center speaker which is best for dialog. We had our doubts but not anymore. My husband is very pleased with the new speaker and can now watch a movie without the frustration of rewinding to replay dialog.
