The reason i gave three stars as i had to replace the first unit as one of the batteries that came with it would not hold a charge, so i replaced the whole unit. You cannot use the battery that came with your Xbox controller you must use the charging batteries supplied in the box and also the battery cover has to be replaced, so if you have a white controller they supply you with two black covers. The controllers sit on the base and you have to push the charging station down to activate the charging where a red light will come on, no red light no charge, you have to make sure the controller is sitting exactly in the right position which is not so exact with the charging station. A green light will appear around to show that the battery is fully charged. the battery will last easy for a full 8 hr session, i have a spare controller just in case i have a crazy night of playing warfare and need a backup quickly. overall for the price i used a coupon from best buy to purchase it's a decent unit, time will tell how long the batteries will last but so far no problems

Easy to use and convenient. Helpful when one remote is dead and you don't want cords laying across the floor (especially with a crawling baby!)

Wanted a controller rechargeable battery and charger so I could stop going through batteries for using my controller. Was able to get this one on sale and have a dual controller charging unit. Works great, you won't regret buying this. The ROI purchasing this to use instead of buying batteries is quick and better for the environment.

Purchased this product after using a cheap online product that didn't work very well, and WOW, this charging station is amazing.It charges extremely fast allowing you to get back to gaming quickly, and the charges last for a long time. It also has an indicator which lets you know when the battery is fully charged.

Excellent charger. This comes with rechargeable batteries that seem to perform excellent. Place the controllers on the charger and then press down each side and they begin charging. When the red charging light turns green, press down again to keep it from overcharging (I'm assuming...instructions weren't clear). Very happy and cool charger.

Charger works excellent. No hassle messing with plugging in my controllers. Just set onto the cradle and they start charging.

I had been struggling to maintain a stock of fully charged rechargeable batteries on-hand for quite a while. I would run out of charge mid-game and have to frantically restock my controller, leading to my purchase of this product, so for me it was a huge improvement. The controllers charge relatively quickly and the charge lasts a decent amount of time. Pricing on this was reasonable, and Best Buy always price matches with other major online and B&M retailers.

No need for changing out batteries. Lasts for hours. When your done, store on charger and its ready to go for next time.

This works just as advertised. There are no issues and it is nice to have rechargeable controllers. Xbox should come stock with these.
